Phil Handy would be a nice addition. 3x NBA Champ so I would like to have him on our bench.

IMO Reaves and Coby White are very similar players. Anyone who gets these guys will have the privilege of handing them $30M a year for 3 or 4 years.


Luka at $70M. Reaves at $30M and Lebron at $52M. That 75% of the cap? That means another round of big men at the vet min.

DAL receives: Lonzo Ball + Jalen Smith
CHI receives: Gafford + Hardy

DAL gets 2 guys on 2 year deals. Lonzo becomes the starting guard for half the season and can easily play with Kyrie later when he gets back. Smith is a downgrade from Gaff, but at he provides something different at the position: some shooting. We cut a little money. Even better if we can somehow offload Powell in the deal too. Yes i know that Lonzo doesn't provide the creation ability of some of the other guards mentioned but he's also a really good defender and it would force the ball more into Flagg's hands.

CHI gets the best player in the deal in Gaff. They take Hardy as well for C. White insurance in case he leaves the following offseason.

Love it, I'd give them 1 SRP and OMax too if Chicago likes him.

I like the idea of trading AD and reset around Flagg but isn't PG the worst contract in the league? I think Mavs should ask for an additional future 1st too, #3 alone is not enough imho to bridge the gap between AD and PG.

I personally would be ecstatic for that kind of trade. I know PG13's contract is albatross (probably the worst in the league) but I would really like a VJ/Flagg/Lively core. I just don't think Nico does this since AD is his guy.

If somehow we get another top5 pick in this draft, the player who intrigues me the most is Tre Johnson (Dallas area native kid btw) but I can see Mr. Harrison taking VJ because of his defense.

Don't see it for PHiI, AD with Embiid is a bad fit, if Embiid is cooked, they are better off keeping the pick.

Embiid's career looks like it's over. Philly's cooked Embiid and PG's contracts. They're keeping the pick and likely going for a slow rebuild until those contracts run out.

I was wondering about this one, too. I think Philly owes because PG13 is so bad, and I'd do it if another pick came with it, maybe even if McCain was included instead.

Yea i think you're right. But I feel like AD and Embiid belong together. Two top-tier big men, always hurt, never serious or motivated to fight hard and play. In a sense they are birds of a feather and during the season can allow each other to take games off while the other plays
