"SGA showed why he's the MVP"- former nuggets head coach Mike Malone in the post game analysis.

okc, otoh, stuck with the 2 and minnie allowed 50%

Naz, Donte, and NAW accounted for 28 of those 3s. All bench players.

They saw how well it worked for Boston in the last round so they decided to imitate the strategy.

I knew that the Timberwolves having 4 points in the paint at halftime was a bad sign.

Knicks the only team with the offensive and defensive firepower to beat OKC

Gobert is such a liability offensively, he might be the least skilled starting center in the nba. Cannot pass, cannot shot, cannot post-up, cannot finish through contact. As good as his defense is, it is disappointing that he hasnt worked harder on expanding his offensive repertoire.

It’s partially a function of Minnesota’s offensive players being useless with him. He is one of the best screeners in the NBA and is a lob threat, but Minnesota doesn’t use either trait effectively. It’s been maddening, Karl-Anthony Towns and (rarely) Mike Conley are the only ones who understand how to play with him on that side of the court.

After the 3rd quarter, you could tell that OKC was just the better team in all dimensions. Minnesota's best case here is to go down swinging

They got no chance, Denver was the only team with championship heart to test them. All these other parity teams with no deep playoff experience can't match their talent and have nothing over them to take advantage of the inexperience.

OKC is too talented top to bottom for this series to be competitive

I remember when Boston whooped the Lakers 148-114 in game one of the finals. Lakers came back and won the finals. It's only one game.

In this thread I literally saw "it's over for okc" at HALF TIME. Lol

I picked OKC in 6 and this game doesn't change that. If the Wolves have a chance, they NEED Nas, NAW and DDV to step up big time. Their production was abysmal.
