Hornets/Mavs Blockbuster
Hornets Gets #1
Mav Get: Pick #4,Brandon Miller & Mark Williams.
Hornets trade up for Cooper to be the face of the team paring him with Lemelo to bring excitement to the town.
Mavs picks up a stud in Brandon Miller who would fit in nicely with them and go for the title next year. Kyrie Miller Davis Williams with Pj coming off the bench would be a threat to win the title next year.

Re: Hornets/Mavs Blockbuster
LOL I want to be the one to say at least give Dallas their pick back since everyone wants picks back in these.
But I'll just say, Williams holds almost no value to Dallas with Lively, Gafford, and AD plus the medicals. So now its #4 and Miller. Feels like a serious attempt at an offer so it would come down to hold Dallas viewed all of Flagg, Miller, and the guys they expect to still be there at 4.
I think the consensus is Flagg is worth more than that.

if Williams is a no u think Dallas might take bridges instead he on a good contract and could play next to Davis?
Oh yeah I forgot we got a future pick from the Mavs well we could give that 4 and Miller to trade up prob still not enough to get Flagg but at least we tried our best to get Flagg.

Oh Dallas would be better off taking Williams and then flipping Gafford for something (or Williams if they could get anything). Bridges is an underwhelming scorer who offers little else and Dallas probably doesn't want to unload more depth for a guy with his off-court concerns.
I'm just pointing out Williams isn't much of a value add here.

Re: Hornets/Mavs Blockbuster
Charlotte should add to this and as mentioned, Mark wouldn't have that much value to the Mavs, he's an upgrade when he plays but not a major one (yet) and they're stocked in the frontcourt.
#1 for #4, Miller, Mavs pick, Heat pick, the weird complicated 2026 1st that's the worst of 4 teams that probably winds up around #20, probably one of our own as well maybe?
Nothing's off the table from Charlotte when it comes to Flagg. but the Mavs aren't going to trade him (except for a Giannis type)

gotcha like I added to the post u made me remember we own Mavs future first giving that back could help to go along with Miller & 4 also could throw in the heat pick aswell as the fellow hornets fan above stated.

I really like Miller so this (with something other than Mark as value added in) would be good to me.
But I understand most people have Flagg a lot higher than I do, so if he is that - you don’t trade out of it.

Hornets Get: #1
Mavs Get: #4,Brandon Miller,Own Pick back, and Heat Pick.
Mavs Get Miller and collect picks for the future.
Hornets get Flag to be the new face of the team and excite the fanbase again.
Melo
Mann
Bridges
Flagg
Williams
that's a good starting lineup if they can keep everyone healthy which has been a problem for the hornets

Re: Hornets/Mavs Blockbuster
Dallas isnt trading Flagg for this. As Chuck said, WIlliams means nothing to Dallas and at the very least Dallas should get their pick back.
Now if you want to talk AD to Charlotte, where he Ball and Miller can be a big 3, that's something Dallas should entertain if they're smart and fire Nico

Re: Hornets/Mavs Blockbuster
I was hoping for a #4 for AD type of deal
Anyways, Mavs made it pretty clear they will reject any offers involving Flagg.

sorry but I reallllly don't want Charlotte to build around a glass-made 32 year old entering season #14, no matter how good he is. I doubt AD has much prime left

I'd think the #4 and Dallas's own 2027 #1 then Miller, Salaun, and Nick Smith for Klay, Calab Martin and the #1 over all. Might be good enough. I run the risk of over valuing Flagg he might be the next big thing or he might just be ok. Who is there at # is a big issue.
Also a question for you Chuck, what is gonna happen with Kyrie Irving?

Not a bad line up IF as you say they can stay healthy, Ball has had some issues and I'm still perplexed by why the LAL rescinded that trade for Williams who look good at times. What was the issue there.

Not sure. My guess would be he opts out and signs a new long-term deal with Dallas. But he could opt in. He could opt out and sign elsewhere. He could opt in and ask to be traded. I feel confident Dallas wants to retain him, less sure about what he wants--after all it is Kyrie.

Still wouldnt trade our first ever #1 lottery pick, but agree with wacko that Char would have to eat Caleb and Klay. Not really interested in those guys coming back though. I guess at least its not Josh Green and Grant Williams

That first option is most likely. Mavs get a discount for next year but tack on a few more years. Smart for Kyrie because he’s not getting a big bag on the open market.
All that being said, Dallas should do a reset. Trade AD for sure. Maybe even figure out a way to do a sign/trade w Kyrie. Get something for Klay? Then start building around Flagg and Lively.

Agreed. I don't mind keeping Kyrie and having some Duke blood permeate the roster, but AD and Klay should definitely go.

Re: Hornets/Mavs Blockbuster
The Mavericks would have even more Centers on the roster after the trade and they already are in need to move one of them as is. Brandon Miller isn't going to compelling enough for the Mavericks to consider moving out of the Cooper Flagg sweepstakes to get a more boom or bust prospect with the 4th pick.

I don't think the Mavs GM would dare helping out the Lakers anytime soon after trading them Luka.It would just piss the mav fans off again and some are still not over trading Luka.
