Thunder, Celtics, Clippers, Cavs, Rockets, Warriors, TWolves, Lakers, Grizzlies, and Knicks. Which one of these teams has a worse supporting cast around their star than the Nuggets

If the starters on the Nuggets are healthy there is plenty of talent. Murray is better then anyone SGA is playing with. Braun is a stud. Posters need to stop pretending that Jokic is playing with bums or something. What team would not love Gordon on it?

So which of these teams would you say have a better supporting cast around their stars

I would know. I'm a Rockets fan. You could also very easily argue the Warriors or Grizzlies as well. Lakers really didn't have much this year, go look at their roster and tell me who besides Luka and LeBron was moving any needles.

I'm not saying the Nuggets had a good bench but their starters were up there with most of the best teams in the league.

Jokic average a triple-double while shooting 41% beyond the arc . Not good enough to be the traditional formula of highest scorer and/or best player on the best team, apparently.

I'm not going to read this entire thread because it really doesn't matter no one changed their opinion. But I'll just tag on this post.. SGA had a gold level MVP caliber year. But I feel what the Joker did is strictly platinum..

You just can't have one of the greatest years in NBA history and not receive that award. Sorry.

SGA was at least as good while anchoring perhaps the most dominant RS team in history. Sorry.

SGA deserves to be an MVP, just not this year over Jokic. Jokic has his greatest statisitcal year and one of the best in history. I understand being the leader on the team with the best record...but if they can give Westbrook an MVP for his first Triple-Double season, then why not Jokic who completely overshadows him? Unfortunately voter fatigue is always a thing.

Jokic had arguably one of the best seasons of all time, Shai had the best season as a guard....this year lol. If OKC didn't have Shai, they would be fighting for home court advantage in the playoffs. If Denver didn't have Joker, they would be in the lottery.

Being honest, it's a highway robbert against Nikola Jokić, but the same thing happened to LeBron James (voters get bored!), so it is what it is. SGA was comfortably the second best player in the NBA, so it Jokić isn't the one getting it, SGA deserves it.
