This is a tragic loss in so many ways for the Knicks

KAT: 35pts/12rbds on 11-17 shooting

And they lost at home...

KAT played very well & I know Brunson's scoring is absurd but I'm not as high on this game as the shooting % would look. Way too shaky making passes down the stretch, turnovers and poor D.

But KAT was great brutal loss.

It was a bad shot. I'm not going to claim otherwise but I was happy with his game. Brunson did a lot of things in this game that caused problems.

This is the sort of choke that defines a series and will never be forgotten. Not only do the Knicks lose the series now, this may start another 2 decades of mediocrity. (ok maybe that's hyperbole but damn what a choke)

Nah. you forgot last year's ECF. Pacers led Celtics late in 4th all 4 games and choked that away. They have come back mentally stronger this year.

Unfortunately it doesn’t work like this. Every game is a different game. For them to lose this one is heartbreaking. If Indy crushes NY next game, does game 1 matter at all how Indy won?

why do you think the way they won this game has any bearing on the next? our team is better, our 1-5 are better, and their defense is bad. even before nesmith had an out of body experience Indiana was playing a good game for them and they were down 14. that's what playing well for them gets them, down 14.

Pacers managed to win with Siakam having a rough night from what I saw. Some of that is OG and the Knicks game plan for sure, but if he can adjust and have a regular game the Pacers will be in good shape next game.
