Nesmith got 17 points in 3 minutes in the 4. I wouldn't call this one an oil painting by the Pacers.

True but executed down the stretch.

All in all I feel this is a more a collapse by NY. They took their foot off the gas.

Hali saving the superstar level for the playoffs. Haven’t seen him this good in a long time.

kinda tells you our dilemma with both OG and Siakam. It was nesmith and haliburton who led the comeback and siakam played the supporting role.
og of course choked the crunch time FT.
they are in better complementary roles now.

Keep thinking that OG on Siakam was the only consistent amount of defense either team could muster in this game, and how trivially easy it would be for SGA to just switch Brunson on himself to attack and make it irrelevant (even if he'll likely be on JDub to start). Then I don't see how either the Knicks or Pacers have enough offense to continuously beat their defense to keep up.

One thing I really liked about the end of the 4th is how Carlisle didn't mess up that last ATO. The play was for the hot hand, Nesmith. Don't overthink it with your stars, let him take the shot (he got fouled, but whatever).

Fitting for a goofy guy like Hali that his Miller choke motion homage ended up being only a tie. Then winning later.

The peacock energy from both KAT and Hali is something else. Got to use some of that energy they're not using to play D on those little celebration poses all game.

Crazy to think Siakam was on the same team as the Kawhi bounce shot, and now the Hali bounce shot. OG too but in a different context

People keep underrating the Pacers and they keep winning in fun and entertaining ways. Hali on another level, take that Sacramento lol

It was alot worse than that. He got a bounce pass under the net wide open with 23 seconds left up by 4. If he receives the pass and dunks it....game over. He fumbled it and siakam had time to come over and block him. Pacers ball.

Then he delivered the pass to Brunson that went out of bounds that basically sealed the win for Pacers.

Not to mention the biggest blooper of the playoffs when he hit the under-side of the rim on a wide open layup. 5 for 16, 3 turnovers. The missed free throw with 7 seconds left. He had a ROUGH game.

He'll come back though. I don't think I've ever seen him make this many timely mistakes before.

OG got locked up by Pascal if anything. OG been wanting to be more of a focal point of the offense since his Raptor days but it has been painfully obvious, for so long, he ain't that guy. He choked huge tonight.

Pascal didn't have a great game but he did the dirty work the Pacers needed to win. Made good decisions late game and didn't get in the way of the hot hands.

Pacers have enough offensive firepower to give OKC problems and a ton of bodies to throw at SGA.
