WTF was that man!

We choked and gave the game away.

There’s no way we let our guard down on some of these plays.

Carlisle just outcoached Thibs in every possession.

If we lose this series I don’t know what happens. We got to trade KAT for depth, but he is legit amazing. I don’t think they fire Thibs now…..

Idk this whole thing is annoying cause unlike Boston that were arrogant and on some “we lost, the Knicks didnt beat us”. The Pacers legit beat us. Ain’t no two ways about it.

We got to regroup, but man that was as rough a first game as I can remember.

OG isn’t a good offensive player. Against the best teams in the biggest moments you want him to be a catch and shoot guy. He’s really been awful in these playoffs and he is a major reason why we lost tonight.

And we need more from Bridges. Period.

OG sucks in the paint unless he’s wide open

And Mitch did absolutely nothing to help us at the end

As much as I hate Thibs, I’m sort of happy for Obi

And frankly the team was awful against Detroit, and keeps leaving the 3 unguarded. So I didn’t honestly let myself fully believe

The man convinced of the integrity of the bigger man will say it's a choke job and stop thinking. OG or Brunson and KAT missed free throws at the end of regulation. Brunson looked uncomfortable on his final shot and should not have taken it, Towns should've hit his three. Wide open missed moment. This one slipped away - pit in my stomach - let it be fuel.... Still - it has to be said - the NBA decided how to officiate the final 4 minutes before they happened. The play that led to a jump ball where Brunson was knocked to the ground was an obvious foul. The missed goaltending was egregious - The Celtics got the benefit of the same call in Knicks position on a play last series. Carsile post game interview said "without saying it, the Knicks fans are enough to deal with". The constant victim card. Haliburton has no F'in respect and if the roles were reversed oh the cows would F'in mooo.

1. OG really **** the bed on D. Drop coverage on like 3 of those Nesmith.
2. Thibs brought in KAT and JB when this team was rolling on D.
3. FREE **** THROWS!
4. Easily the worse 40 PT performance I've see JB do. He absolutely killed momentum.
5. Hart falling all over the place.

What’s that play where Brunson is wandering around and the ball goes to Nesmith and he’s wide open

Great job JB and Thibs

It was like the Knicks didn’t even know he was on the court even till the final foul by OG

If we lose this series, I think they strongly consider a coaching change and I think they look at KAT plus parts for Giannis if it’s there.

OG is a 3 and D guy who should be used as a spot shooter

Bridges is a 3 and D guy who excels in the mid range

Neither guy should be the 3rd best player on a top heavy roster with no depth.

I wanted the knicks to come out and PLAY D as they did against Boston. Wtf is wrong with our Knicks Cap?! They keep doing this ****. Stop wasting your talents! I'm so pissed I dont know if I'll watch game 2. I'm not here for the games. Youre in the ECF
-you have a 14 point lead and you let a top 10 shooter go 6-7!?

The statistic "994-0 in the NBA" refers to the record of teams leading by at least 14 points with 2:45 left in a game. This means that in 994 instances, teams leading by that margin at that point in the game have gone on to win. The 994-0 streak was broken when the Indiana Pacers had a comeback against the New York Knicks. The Pacers came back from a 14-point deficit with 2:45 remaining, ultimately winning the game.

Anyone who doesn’t think we’re cooked, I envy your optimism.

problem is it may have been "one" loss in the standings but I have a hard time believing this won't have trickle down effect at some point the rest of the series.

This was in the bag as in the bag can get.

I'm legit worried about momentum. What lead is now safe for us...we thought our game 1 vs BOS was improbable....then we follow up with game 2.

this was a worse loss then both those blown leads because of how much we were up with so little time.

How does a team score 20 pts in 3 minutes?

If this was game 2 I’d say there reason to be concerned but until we see the response then there’s nothing to worry about yet. We can score on them, now that we felt them out we know what we need to clean up defensively plus we did a lot of good things offensively until the last quarter and overtime. So game 2 will be more telling about how the rest of the series will go. We aren’t overmatched so we will see which team is more built for the long run.

I want to see this Knick team play DEFENSE.

Yup… stay even keeled with this teams. They have highs and lows. Just accept what happens and move on. Whatever else they achieve this season is just gravy.
