Nesmith channeled his inner Reggie Miller. Doing it against the Knicks too. Wild.

It's like watching beautiful offense and then being reminded of how horrible we played with our twenty point lead twice.

And the fact that I am posting this and joe still has a **** job.

And not jacking up 3s . We really need a couple of players that can take it to the basket and isn’t just a 3 point shooter.

They never come back without Nesmith jacking up 3 after 3 after 3, half of which were not really great shots, he just hit them.

Do you really want me to regurgitate some of my post history??

Hell NO!!!

Sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't.
Plenty of High Draft Picks that turned out to be Busts. And plenty of End of Draft Players that did well.

I am pretty vocal stubborn and persistent in my beliefs. And I believe most people clearly remember me for hating our coaches and loving Nesmith and PP.

All I ask is that people allow me to bask in my glory for a minute, since I will be suffering all summer long and next season with Boston. :(

Nembhard also has turned out nicely.

Nembhard went 6 picks after the pick (#25) we traded to SAS for D White
Nesmith obviously, we traded for Brogdon

In another world, Nembhard, Nesmith, Tatum, Brown, KP could be our starting 5
(love D White and Nesmith got us Jrue Holiday in a round-about way, so no complaints. but we had another path Brad coulda taken)

But Nesmith still wasn't anything special, back then.

Ya this is revisionist history, everyone here thought he was a bum and bust. Good on him to get a lot better but he showed nothing here

Nesmith couldn't get minutes behind JT, JB, and Smart.

He doesn't strike as a player who thrives standing in a corner waiting for a pass to shoot a three.

IIRC that is how we tried to use him and even then he more often than not didn't receive the pass. And when he did he was so cold and not in rhythm that he'd miss badly

Man, that Hali shot went twice as high as Don Nelson's shot.

I'm just happy for Nesmith, man. Watching him blossom into a pretty good player has been satisfying, it's a shame he couldn't develop with us.

I wish we played like either of these teams.

Need a more malleable pair of stars and a more creative coach.

Tatum can play any style. Although he'd have to unlearn so much now.

But yeah, with our coach we have no chance to do anything like either of these teams.

Perhaps JT can, but does he want to...

And you're on the nose regarding coach 'my way or the highway' Mazzulla

People ragged on Danny for that draft so badly
They goofed on Nesmith, they goofed on Pritchard, they said the one good player Ainge took (Bane) he gave away to salary dump Enes

Looking at it now, PP and Aaron Nesmith, those are two solid picks

The Knicks winning a championship just feels dirty and wrong on every level. It can't happen.

That was such an unclutch catch attempt by Brunson. Ball clearly went off him. Clutch challenge and ATO by Carlisle.

Per NBA PR, Nesmith is the first player in NBA history to make 6+ threes in the 4th Q of the playoff game. Can now add him to the long list of good to great Ainge draftees.

There's still time for Joe to adapt to playing with more discipline on offense.

Carlisle was more of a defensive minded coach before he arrived at Indiana.

JT must realize that their current style of play does not work anymore.

So whether Joe and JT figure it out, next season will be a bridge year and it will really show us how good or bad Mazzulla-Ball is.

I remember a game where he got a start against the Raptors late in 2021-22 and he hit a huge 3 to extend our lead or something. There was always something there but Udoka or Stevens never gave him much of a chance.

Nope, if you see the post above, no one has ever choked to that level. We did choke though, in three games, we can hang our hat on that!
