Take the next one and then split in Indy. One game at a time. This one is probably going the distance.

I wanted the knicks to come out and PLAY D as they did against Boston. Wtf is wrong with our Knicks Cap?! They keep doing this ****. Stop wasting your talents! I'm so pissed I dont know if I'll watch game 2. I'm not here for the games. Youre in the ECF
-you have a 14 point lead and you let a top 10 shooter go 6-7!?

The Pacers do this to everyone. Just did it to the DPOY. We need to figure out how to stop it.

Our Knicks dont have the Killer level yet. I hope they found it after this loss.

I dunno. To me it's play smarter, not harder. We rushed a lot tonight when we needed to slow it down.

14 point lead with less than 4 minutes left.
8 point lead with less than 2 minutes left.
9 point lead with less than 1 minute left.

Unexcusable.

Not gonna get my hopes up.

WTF was that man!

We choked and gave the game away.

There’s no way we let our guard down on some of these plays.

Carlisle just outcoached Thibs in every possession.

If we lose this series I don’t know what happens. We got to trade KAT for depth, but he is legit amazing. I don’t think they fire Thibs now…..

Idk this whole thing is annoying cause unlike Boston that were arrogant and on some “we lost, the Knicks didnt beat us”. The Pacers legit beat us. Ain’t no two ways about it.

We got to regroup, but man that was as rough a first game as I can remember.

KAT is legit shot maker. I just don't know if Giannis makes those same shots.

It sucks man. If KAT makes that game tying three off the Josh Hart pass at the end of OT, we go to Double OT.

I had us in 5 going in. Maybe 6 now after this miracle win they squeaked out

I felt as soon as Haliburton put up the choke sign that the Knicks will win this series. Tough pill to swallow.

I've about had it with Thibs saying "Coaches decision" in press conferences. Admit your stupidity. No more "the game will tell you what to do." How about coaching for a change?

I still got the NYK winning the series. If they don’t, then OKC woulda smacked them anyway.

These guys are not content. They are not happy to merely steal homecourt. They want both games. And they have the confidence and belief they can do it.

I wish I could be as confident as those that still think that this loss isn’t that big of a deal and that they’ll simply shake it off.

Also, anyone that continues to underestimate this Pacers team is foolishly doing the same things that Boston fans did, which is being arrogantly confident, despite choking at home. Like, we are not that much better than them. I don’t even know what planet you guys are living on thinking that the Knicks are that much better than them. That are a really deep team, that knows exactly how to impose their style of play on you. This is about as even as it gets from a talent perspective, and they have what it takes to beat us.

They lost this game in absolutely the worst way possible.

not just the comical bad defense.

the inbounds were so dicey...guys slipping...guys falling...brunson throwing wild no look passes in the middle of the court

it was 101 in every expect how not to close out a game.

They have been better than the Knicks the 2nd half of the season. They have been better than the Knicks in the playoffs.

They have much more depth. They probably have more overall talent.

You know KAT has had some big moments fighting for boards and playing defense LATE in games, including this one, and anything would have been better than Mitch watching Obi slam it or standing still at a paint cutter.
