Well, OKC actually only tried 21 threes in the game itself. That's very low for the current NBA.

I think it's as simple as if the wolves can hit an average amount of 3s at least and not turn the ball over a ton they'll win. If not the thunder will

I still have Thunder in 6.

Nas, NAW and DDV HAVE to actually contribute for them to have a chance.

So if Nickell, Naz and Donte are going to continue shooting like absolute ****, then this is going to be another blowout. Strange to say that a playoff series hinges on three bench players, but the T-Wolves rely on these guys to produce offense and they get plenty of shots to do so. No excuse for them not to give something after what we saw from Indiana last night. Their collective best game was Game 1 of the Lakers series. That was almost five weeks ago.

Great points I agree.
I can see a good bounce back game from Reid, JMD and a better defensive scheme against Shai too.

I think the bigger issue was that they got nothing from Rudy in G1. He needs to play this series like every game is a potential close out Game 5:
Lakers: 27pts, 24reb (9 OREB), 2blk on 12/15 FG in 38mins as a +18
&
Warriors: 17pts, 8reb, 1blk on 8/9 FG in 27mins as + 21

Rudy's production offensively is almost solely based on how many clean looks he can get close to the basket (either via guard drops off or offensive rebounds). Moving Jaxon Hayes or Trayce Jackson-Davis around in the paint for offensive boards is a lot easier than Hartenstein. Obviously, picking up two fouls in ninety seconds is not smart, but even if he plays more, unless the Wolves make a concerted effort to get him doorstep drop-offs or lobs, I wouldn't be counting on him for points.

Last year in the playoffs: DiVicenzo averaged 17.8ppg and shot 42% from 3.
Last year in the playoffs: Reid averaged 11.1ppg and shot 36% from 3.

This year in the playoffs: DiVincenzo is averaging 8.1ppg and shooting 25% from 3.
This year in the playoffs: Reid is averaging 10.4ppg and shooting 40% from 3. (This seems decent on the surface, but he's turning the ball over a lot and has been in single digits for 4 straight games).

Wolves need a collective 30 piece from these guys in at least two games to have a chance (in my opinion).

Will the T Wolves score any fast break points tonight's?

In game one they scored ZERO.

Coach, you might be the problem.

Really important game for the TWolves tonight. Going down 0-2 is risky even if the next two are at home.

Antman needs to be more aggressive, McDaniels needs to commit less dumb fouls, and DDV and Naz need to hit their open 3s. If they do that, they'll win.

When did I say that?

I remember saying the Knicks would kill OKC. Thunder aren't that impressive. Still standing on it.

you might be right but I'm way more worried about the Wolves than the Knicks or Pacers.
