It's official, I'm rooting for the Pacers. That's got to be the greatest comeback that late in the game in playoff history. Just insane.

Bunch of people saying we got fleeced for og because he made some good plays and knicks fans were chanting his name… ends up making some choke worthy plays down the stretch, finishes with 16/3/2, 6/15 shooting, 2/8 from 3… yeah we didn’t get fleeced, he’s exactly the same og… again I didn’t even hate him he was a great role player, but again that’s essentially why we had to trade him…

Looks like Pacers stay in games with their shooting, and step up their defence like crazy in the 4th q last 5 minutes. Looks like a strategy, I've seen it in many games.

Big red flag for the Pacers is that Knicks bench lineup clearly out playing them. To the point that it should be obvious to the Knicks coaching staff that the starting lineup needs to change and that you can also afford to keep KAT away from the Brunson rotations as much as possible. At the bare minimum, Mitch should start over Hart. They have the answers in rotations to the D and O problems.

The problem is that Thibs will never do this.

The funniest part to me was that during that TO with 40 seconds left, OG went after KAT on the bench hard. So hard that even Jalen was trying to calm him down, while also barking at KAT. I have never seen OG agitated, much less towards a teammate. Then OG and Jalen proceeded to go and flub the game away right after that lol.

One of things I miss about 90s basketball was if a guy was flopping, or embellishing for foul calls, they were going to feel it in the morning because guys like Oakley put them on their back on the next play.

I think there's a better illustrative example of the consensus of why the professional basketball knowers see it that way.

Do you believe the Giddey/Caruso trade was a "win-win" for both sides? The knowers very clearly don't.

The late push Bulls getting killed by a Heat team that went on to get annihilated by the first seed, who themselves went on to embarrass themselves against a non-contender is the perfect example of what you can accomplish with a floor raiser who had no role on an actual contender. There are many levels to this, and he's stuck on the first floor.

This is why my hopes of salvaging that trade remain on IQ turning into a gravity generating 3pt star. The same way the Bulls have to hope Giddey somehow turns into something useful without the ball in his hands for the playoffs.

This is why I wanted a picks package.

We’ll see if Kawhi can win his 3rd ring. This time as the GM of the OKC Thunder.

Even a lot of Knicks fans admit he foul baits, but they blame the NBA for allowing it. They are not entirely wrong. I really don't want to see 25 FTAs per game between Brunson and Shai in a OKC-NYK Finals.

If OKC wins the championship, what argument will the anti-Presti crowd use going forward? He got lucky Kawhi asked the Clippers to trade for PG and in return got a future MVP SGA?
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

That's literally what happened tho
That was the narrative from time, well before this year
Doesn't diminish anything
Not sure why there would be an anti-presti crowd, what has he ever done to be hated tho

Los claims Kawhi drafted Jalen Williams, Chet and acquired IHart and Caruso - and thus if OKC wins it's because of shadow GM Kawhi Leonard.

Do we know what the argument was about? Looked like coach Thibodau was saying something to KAT too.

I am not really sure. Everyone was going at him though. I don't think it would have been a blown defensive assignment because it's KAT, that happens a couple of dozen times a game with him.

To add...I think they need to play Achiuwa.

Going with pretty much a 7 man rotation won't work. Pacers run too much. Achiuwa can at least run, rebound and play defense...and give others a rest.
