F the knicks! I am going for OKC THunder. Give OKlahoma a championship! Bunch of young guys with a great GM who got rid of KD, Westbrook, and Harden to build a young team!

This team reminds me of the suns with the twins, ayton and CP3. Hustle, depth, and hard work.

Yeah, I'm pulling for OKC, then Minnesota. I do like the Knicks a lot more than I did in the past and love Bridges, but I've also always pulled for Indy.

I think Indy will beat them though.

I read that they started 16-18 and then went 34-14 down the stretch after the new year which was one of the best records in the NBA.

It would be weird to have an OKC/Indy finals.

Of course the league may try to get the Knicks into the finals, given it's market size.

I have been on the Denver Nuggets bandwagon since their 2019 season, I think Jokic is the real deal (didn't know he is THIS great) and Murray is a gamer so obviously pretty bummed out that they inevitably lost to a stacked team. If Jokic just played a little better in one of Game 4 and 5 and held the lead, they would be up 3-1 or 3-2 going into Game 6. They were so close, but also quite far in a sense that they don't have positive assets to improve their depth. How the F can you give up 3 2nd round picks to dump Reggie Jackson and still keep signing players with PO? Dumb.

I always like the Wolves, I hate Gobert for non-basketball reason but I like how this team was built and have a clear identity and culture, this franchise and their fanbase went through a lot and they deserve all the success they are having right now.

Not a fan of OKC style of play but I'm rooting for SGA as a fellow Canadian.

The Celtics were already down when Jayson Tatum got hurt so I don't know if they can come back from down 1-3 even with Tatum being healthy. I think Brown not being 100% going into the playoffs ultimately sank them. Porziņģis barely played in their last run and wasn't a factor in any of their series, it was Tatum AND Brown.

The Cavs had no answer on the defensive end for Indiana, and their 3s did not fall like they did in the regular season. Their top 3 shooters Mitchell, Garland and Struss were a combine 12-50 from the field in their last game, that's just too much to overcome. Their formula of two defensive bigs and two undersized offensive small guards definitely a recipe of success in the regular season, but it's hard not to question if there's too many vulnerabilities in the playoffs for team to exploit after this run. I always thought in the playoffs where teams game plan and win on margins, these details will matter much much more. And I never trust a Mitchell led team to have a deep playoff run anyway. They most likely will run it back though.

And I'm changing my opinion on the Pacers, they had shown their ability to step up their defense. The Pacers and the Nuggets who were below average defensive team during the regular season both have playoff defensive ratings that would've rated top 10. I can see a veteran team with championship pedigree like the Nuggets pace themselves in the regular season, but the Pacers really stepped up their effort and intensity on both ends. Andrew Nembhard is a playoff riser. Miles Turner is having an incredible run and they are very confident and connected.

I prefer an east team won, preferably Indy. I just think the story is so much better if they won because no one expects them to. The other three teams are all built to be contenders at some varying level, one team even has an MVP, but Indy....they are kinda the forgotten team without the fanfare, without the superstar (Hali is pretty damn good though) and it's mostly a team of starting quality role players and fringe all stars.

I honestly thought the Knicks looked fine mostly, but the Pacers made something like 7 threes in a row.

Yeah I'm buying them. They changed my opinion after the Cavs series.

The Pacers are not a great defensive team so the Knicks score pretty easily but it's exactly the pace the Pacers wanted. Throughout 3 quarters the biggest lead for the Knicks were like 9 or 11 so the Pacers was able to hang around, until they had a stretch where they couldn't score and the lead got up to 17. And then in the last 3 minutes of the game they scored 23 points in 3 minutes and 15 seconds, that's almost a 80+ points quarter.

Knicks can still win the series, but I think Pacers got the mental edge now.
