Yea they weren’t as sharp n focused as earlier in the game but it ain’t because they were bored… who gets bored in an ECF game at MSG?
You can believe what you want, but there’s a reason the pros are calling it what it is and why most of us here been warning about it all season. Players talk about how difficult it is to play up until this point in the season all the time, now imagine doing it with all that extra mileage on you from the season of 7-8 man rotations 40+ mpg. Not rocket science. Google it.
But what’s done is done, and our guys just gotta dig deep, dial in, focus and fight thru it til the end. Thibs gotta be better too
Who said they were bored? You have to read more carefully.
Your fatigue claim has been proven false over and over again. If what you say is true then they would have folded numerous times and never advanced this far. Yet they always do the opposite, they come back and play better. You don’t come back playing better the next game if you are truly fatigued. These mistakes are not fatigue related and when they play better again next game you will again be proven wrong.
You specifically said “they were too comfortable to almost being bored”.
It’s not “my” fatigue claim lol it’s professional NBA players claim.
When has it been proven wrong?
Just because they win doesn’t mean it’s not a thing. That’s spoken like someone who clearly doesn’t get it.
Comfortable, kicked back, relaxed, let the foot off the gas. Whatever phrase you want to use but don’t ignore the point. There were no signs of fatigue and even then it took Indiana making ridiculous shots just to tie.
If you care about professional athletes opinions then the only ones who’s opinion really matters is the guys who actually played the game and none of them are saying they were tired but they do admit they got complacent. On to the next one
