On to another finals! Really proud of this group and this run. Even with some injuries the depth picked it up.

Good series Cap, always a battle.

DET certainly wont be easy...looking forward to a great series with a chance for a potential 4-peat.

Damn, it would’ve been nice to face the team with BaF’s best record without 3 injured players, but it wasn’t meant to be.

I would like to think that at least Porter Jr. and Dort could have made the difference in the two close losses. But injuries are a part of the game and it is what it is.

Regardless, Toronto had a strong season (65 wins and an ECF appearance). We’ll continue to work tirelessly to get better.

This team is built for sustained success and perennial championship contention. I will not rest.

Congrats brother. We fought but your dastardly Spurs are just a juggernaut. As you said, great depth to overcome some injuries. Good luck vs Context and the Pistons. This should be a battle royale.

For sure, especially that last game. SGA and the squad made one last push to send it back to LA. Close game. Only real blowout was when you didn't have KAT in game 2. Looking forward to seeing how you attack the offseason.

Spoiler:
I always go back and think how that "trade" could have changed things if we ever did end up agreeing to it

Thanks, impressive season. First truly defensive centric BAF build and it worked out well. You should get the Amen bump which should really help.

ANNOUNCEMENT

Congratulations to Context and mpharris for fantastic seasons and great postseason runs up to this point. The 2025 BaF finals will feature two teams which have won 151 combined games this season, the highest win total ever to meet in the history of both the NBA and BaF. It should be an incredibly entertaining championship series and whoever wins will have definitely earned the ring.

Congrats also to Cap and 2010 for taking the Clippers and Raptors to the conference finals for the first time in either franchises history. Both teams had great seasons but came up just short in their quest for a championship.

Before we get to the Finals and then our offseason, we have a few bookkeeping items to take care of. First, we need a check in for season 9 (2025-26). Please let me know yes/no before the final game of the postseason whether or not you will be back for next year. I have already heard from one GM who will not be returning and I would like to get a head start on filling any additional vacancies before the offseason begins. While on this subject, I'd like to thank Wackbone for his commitment to BaF over the past few years. He has left the Celtics in good shape and whoever takes over in Boston will start with a nice mix of talented players.
