Random thought but remember we had a streak of like 2+ seasons of not blowing a 15 point lead? They were like 65-0 or something. Then I think we did it twice towards the end of the season, and maybe in one of the pistons games (i forget).

You could write a computer program in like 10 minutes to do what Thibs is doing.
good og is essentially a star glue guy. i want an og anunoby jersey. but last night we got maybe the worst version of him i've seen (even when we were winning). he's high up on the list of responsibility for this loss. i hope he can get it together for game 2
He had two games against Boston that were zeroes, like almost had no points at all, like basically a big 0. Too lazy to look up Detroit series but nothing great there that I remember. He's fallen off. He's not injured enough to not play but in a sense this is even worse. Bc the coach will keep playing him lol.
Utter incompetence. A joke.

We would be too. A team that commits sports suicide is a rightful joke folks. There's no way around it. Totally unprofessional.

There's one coach in the league capable of being up 14 with 3:44 left to go and losing. It's meteor level improbable. You have to be such a stubborn slow thinking orc to even give it a run.

Re: PG: Knicks vs Indy: Game 1 ECF
The NBA All-Defensive teams were announced earlier today. OG rightfully made neither team.
He is getting paid 212 million to be an elite defender for this team, and he simply hasn't been that this year.
I think he has been a disappointment this season, particularly on defense, where he has been solid, but not great. He falls well below Caruso, the Thompson twins, Draymond or Gobert in defensive impact.
He also hasn't been good in these playoffs. The Knicks have been 24.8 points per 100 possessions worse with him on the court. This isn't just statistical noise, the value is too extreme to be meaningless.
So back to game 1, he completely blows a defensive coverage on a key possession in the last minute of regulation, he blows a wide open layup earlier in the 4th quarter, he turns the ball over at a pivotal moment, and he's the one to throw a tantrum during the timeout? I also saw him ignoring a dap attempt by KAT when the Knicks were up big, leaving him hanging at midcourt.
He's giving off weird vibes, I'm sorry.
I hope he bounces back in game 2, but I think he may become a question mark for the offseason if he doesn't step up. I'm hoping he does.

If there was a 3rd All Defensive Team, he could have made that!

Re: PG: Knicks vs Indy: Game 1 ECF
This is one of the worst losses I've ever seen. No other way to put it. The refs contributed as well with some missed calls that cost the Knicks points on the board. The obvious goal tend on Brunson's layup and overturning that foul with Siakam and OG. How does that get overturned? And why is grabbing his jersey considered incidental contact? That isn't why they lost but if those calls go the other way they probably win. I'm disgusted.
Make the Knicks great again!

Yes or no, the only non rookie scale contract on the Knicks that would net a positive return is Jalen Brunson?

Why after seeing 3 after 3, the coach doesn't say hey put them on the line and run the clock out????? They were down to 1 timeout. Terrible game management despite the mistakes and missed free throws.
That’s Monday morning quarterbacking, to be fair, nobody could predict he would hit 5 straight threes in two minutes.
I disagree. He hit 3 straight 3s before that. It's called a trend and gameplan for what was obviously their strategy of getting up as many 3s as possible. They weren't looking to take it inside at all. And obviously Nesmith was hot... I mean we didn't attempt to disrupt him from getting the ball or nothing. you could see it happening in real time.
But we actually did kind of try the intensional foul strategy with 12 seconds left when OG fouled Nesmith before he got the 3 up, he hit both his FT and we missed ours… yes, there was still a lot of time left but it’s like damned if you do, damned if you don’t
Hindsight is 20/20… (yes Thibs def blew his load with wasting that challenge on Brunsons fourth foul) still a **** storm of things that went right for them to pull it off, I don’t expect lightening to strike twice in the spot

I mean, defense is a first sign usually. The jumper can keep going for a while, and paper over things a little, but once the defense goes, that's that. It's not coming back.
His offense to me is not good ... some reliable 3's but weak inside, hell of weak. I don't like IQ but would reverse the trade in a heartbeat.
FWIW I think the only players I really like thoroughly on the team are Deuce and KAT. And I recognize JB is a great scorer.

And yet that isolated situation wasn’t the reason they blew a whole 14 point lead. There were numerous of things that went wrong. You can claim that’s when it all started but in reality a couple of contests and made free throws and we aren’t arguing about a historic loss.
