Never understand this argument. The Tatum/Brown "fit" has produced 5 ECF appearances, 2 NBA Finals appearances, 1 NBA Championship in 8 years. Seems like a good "fit" to me.

Old CBA it isn’t a bad fit. Under the new one? It’s hard to build a balanced team when you have two guys who do a lot of the same things making 60 million. Bad financial fit might be a better choice if words.

Honestly I don't understand this argument either. No team is absorbing Jaylen Brown's contract so the Celtics would have to take back $45-48 million in contracts for Brown's $53 million. As far as the $60 million in a few years, the salary cap and both aprons will continue to rise. In a few years both Tatum and Brown's contracts will look like like bargains when players are making $70 million.

In a year or two this country will be in recession and BRI is going to go down, not up.

Being an Aussie I’m pretty far from understanding this, but is that really true with the recession?

Many economists think so. Also, the rosy economic numbers coming out of the current U.S. administration are simply made up. They fired all the people responsible for producing accurate ones.
