Dominos got half off going.

I usually buy 2 or 3 xls, wrap them in foil and saran wrap, put them.in the freezer. Good for a long time if you pack your lunch every now and then.

They just opened up a Casa Nostra (originally Pizza Nostra in the west end) in Vaughan near my work. Very good. I had to get one today for lunch because of all this talk about Pizza party. I would put it same or just below John's of Bleeker's St in NYC, above Joe's Pizza in NYC. North of Brooklyn still my fave.

So I went back to this thread after being close to Badiali today. for the first time. Was around 1:45 with a decent amount of people eating out on the patio and the lineup had like 2 people.

I ordered their mushroom slice which was pretty bomb, then I decided to check the vodka cheese slice. When I had that, I was blown away. Nice and tangy/spicy. In my 2nd lineup, it was getting busy but the staff are pretty smart they keep things moving. Some people slow down the process like they're buying a house.

For those that don't drink or stick to halal/vegan, the vokda slice is completely fine theres no alcohol. Badiali is pretty dietary restriction friendly. I'll probably be back for the vodka slice alone next week. I am sure the other slices are really good but dang it was nearly $13.00 for 2 slices. Because of traffic and congestion issues in the liberty village/high park area, I wouldn't line up for too long.

There's another place called Gram's pizza in the junction/high park area towards the west - I wouldn't put it in the same league as Badiali but it was modestly priced and the slices were pretty good. The owner Gram is a cool guy. I learned about this place after watching it on CBC coverage on the US/Canada trade war. It looks like he built his pizza shop in an old garage or storage, its a pretty hipster setup

King slice is another one on bloor. Arabiatta slice. Massive slice, and they put on this vietnamese garlic oil on it which compliments the mushroom really well.

I'll rank it:

1) Badiali Vodka
2) King Slice Arabiatta
3) Badiali Mushroom
4) Gram's Cheese

A good change of scenery trying some Toronto Pizza, but don't mind being back to the local dominos, the mom and pop shops, pizza pizza, costco etc. Easier on the wallet.

Is there a Vatican, Jerusalem, or Kerbala pizza in Scarborough as well? No rizz if they are missing out on other holy sites.

Just googled bismillah pizza, the cheese is looking pretty serious. Wondering if theres an astagfrullah pizza or say wallahi pizza somewhere in Toronto

There should be. I would enjoy eating the pizza of the devout, whose Holy rizz would enervate my soul through my stomach.

Pizza Pizza isn't near as bad as it used to be. If you order thin crust and well done it's decent when you factor in the cost (if you pick it up).

Pizza Pizza is bottom of the barrel type of stuff. They do have the best dipping sauces in the game though for sure. I have one right down the road from me and I always go in and buy dips and nothing else.

Depends which locations and the medium $6.99 medium pepperoni pizza is still one of the best deals in town.

The medium walk-in speciual is $8.99. It does not matter the location. Pizza Pizza is garbage cardboard "pizza". It is like Subway, just plain disgusting and a waste of money.

I wouldn't say pizza pizza is garbage cardboard pizza. Some of those overpriced indie pizza shops will have 30 dollar pizzas but will use canned/pickled toppings. Pizza Pizza is mostly freshly cut toppings which is big for me.

Their default cooking method is pretty bad though which leaves a very crunch burnt ish crust tasting like cardboard. A lot of customers just tell them lightly done and it turns out to be really good. I haven't seen them cheap out on toppings either. Dang I see they have stuffed crusts now - habanero cheese. I might just get a 3 topping special for friday with the habanero cheese.

It really is true about the variance in branches. Like 80% of them are total crap. But 1 in 5 or so is run by someone who cares because it tastes completely different somehow. I found 2 for 1 was like that too.

Just happened to find a good pizza pizza branch at sheppard and Nielson. I find it's worth trying a 7 dollar medium at each branch closeby just to make sure they aren't part of the crappy majority because they are open late and super cheap.

So if you find a good branch it's definitely worth it. Especially for feeding kinds. You can feed 5 or 6 kids for less than 15 bucks at pizza pizza. That costs like 50 or 60 bucks at McDonald's.

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

There’s probably a conclave pizza somewhere too. Maybe a watermelon pizza?

In all seriousness, some pizza spots do bring us closer to God.

Thanks for the tip on pizza pizza stuffed crusts. Question: have you tried pizza Nova? It’s consistently amazing and they often have inexpensive walk in specials. I’m partial to a one topping with Italian sausage and add garlic oil, a smidge of parm and some garlic powder too.

DIY your dips and never go back! I do agree that the garlic dip from pizza pizza is amazing and they’re the pioneers of dips in general so I gotta give it to them.
