Just let them expire. If the Bucks want to take on salary into cap space two summers from now, they can do it in 2027. By then they'll know if Giannis is around long term or not. Maybe they have max cap space and a vet is open to chasing a ring. Or Giannis is gone and the Bucks aquire some teams mistakes if they send some assets to help in the rebuild.

But they should be leaving options open.

In the meantime you burn two years of prime Giannis by having one of the worst fits possible (a bad shooting, low IQ player) next to him. Coolcoolcool

Kuzma and Pat won't get the Bucks anything back that helps them in the next two years anyway. All you're doing here is trading a couple bad players for another bad player and paying a 150% tax to do so.

So simple yet so hard for some to grasp.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I'd do it for whatever the last pick Kon Knueppel is on the board for

hometown boy and a literal perfect fit

so probably like 5-8

Additional by subtraction since if Kuz is here, he’s playing 30+mpg in the regular season.

What does it matter? The Bucks aren't winning a title anyway. If they really believe they're going to have Giannis here longterm, then the cap sheet in the summer of '27 needs to be clean as possible.

Find another trade where Kuzma and Pat get you a player that is a positive and a 1st rd pick. Good luck.

There are other bad contracts out there that expire sooner than Jrue. I'd rather have Bradley **** Beal. 27-28 is the gag point.

Troy Murphy? Good luck getting him to defend in the playoffs! He’s worse than Brook

Kohl vetoed a Magloire/Mo for Troy Murphy deal in 2006. He felt we could only afford one max-ish contract (Redd). Praise the Lord for the new owners ability to spend, spend, spend on payroll.

Two things:

1. He’s known as “key starter on a finals team and all-star” Mo Williams.

2. Troy Murphy was a max-ish player at some point????

I love Jrue and would take him back as a 20 mpg, vibes guy who is useful. But let’s wait until he gets bought out by whatever trade holds Boston over the coals to take his deal.

Khris AND Jrue as buyout guys would be hilarious.

The Suns would love to ditch Beal but he’s retiring in the desert with that no trade clause.

No one gets bought out until the last year of their deal after the trade deadline.

Who do you think they are signing with cap space? Greg Monroe? Joe Smith? Definitely need to sacrifice two years to make sure we can add that type of player.

Kuminga is essentially just Kuzma, right?

Am I missing something with him?

The reality is, we're so screwed that bringing in Jrue and Porzingis is probably about as good as we can hope to do..

Giannis isn't gonna be fine with one or two "gap years" at 31 years old.

There will be other deals available. The Lakers have been trying to reunite with Kuz for years

Lol I'll believe it when I see it. He's awful and the league is aware.

We (not me) spent all of last off season overvaluing our trash players assuring ourselves there were deals out there for them. I'm not doing it again.
