Even then, 6 shot attempts in 44 minutes is unacceptable. I get we still scored 135 points, but when it got to the end of the game, the Pacers were just doubling and trapping Brunson. Need another threat out there. Can’t just play 4 on 5.

too bad, thibs will ride josh until the day he gets fired.
josh is not going to get benched. He is the embodiment of thibs' playstyle preference

Hart needs fewer minutes or he needs to relearn how to play defense before he sprints to rebound lol

Said before the series even started, Knicks could take this in 5. But they have a tendency to lose focus and wouldn’t be surprised if it went 7 because of that. Backs against the wall for the first time all playoffs, I fully expect them to get G2 and split in Gainbridge.

The game was over so yeah. We already beat them. But decided to leave the safe open, basically on purpose, so they could steal our win. Essentially, effectively, the same as throwing the game. Just based on incompetence.

Too late now. That's what people don't realize. Too late already. Some mistakes, doesn't matter how "determined" you are to erase the mistake. You lose. A G1 giveback, 100% giveback of your win, you lose. Fatal. Buh-bye Knicks.

Too much negativity, man

It’s a 7 games series. Let’s focus on G2. We take that one, pressure is on the Pacers to hold home court. We’re 5-1 on the road this playoffs. Just gotta take 1.

TBH and people doubt me ... I'm on my way out as a fan. I can put up with just about anything ... and HAVE put up with just about anything lol ... as a lot of you have.

Some may not believe me but I'm not put out by it. I just don't think it's worthwhile to root for a club that is throwing things in the garbage for no reason at all. That is like the one grave sin. The only thing that's worse is actually throwing games. But in a way this is more embarrassing -- because they just lost a G1 that was WON ... let's be clear, the game was over ... because they have no plan. They have no clue.

Missed shots, simply sucking, all of that is acceptable. But not what happened last night. It's just a waste of time.

That's not fun. And let's be totally honest ... it's a travesty if the Knicks advance. They just spit in the face of integrity and professionalism and it's an obvious 3 Ring Circus ... who could want that to be rewarded, if we put aside our love for the team? We aren't the ones who spit in the face of integrity. They are.

So while our personal feelings are sort of wrapped up in it (though I'm really not bothered by it), I cannot involve myself in a hobby where professionals are essentially amateurs ... or has-beens or whatever Thibs and 0g are.

They are both a joke. JB plays too much, not his fault. Mitch basically sucks and has no professionalism either, the way he came in last night in OT. Guy is not serious.

I like Deuce and KAT. Hopefully they'll get traded after this ignominious exit the team is about to endure. But it's deserving. The team deserves this fate they've made for themselves. I don't think I could be that happy with them advancing anyway, for reasons given, but you know what? They're not going to advance and they CLEARLY do not deserve to.

Point blank period. Enjoy the game tonight fellas. No heart feelings. I admire the integrity of KNICKS FANS. Not the team.

Remember the same squad and rotation is there from last season. They’ve gotten even better.

I looked at the Pacers playoff performances and in all their wins they are, except for one game, shooting over 50% from the field and over 40% from 3. Does anyone remember last year in Game 7 when they shot like 70% for the game? This team can score and is extremely efficient. I just don’t see us beating them at this point. Just taking the big choke collapse out of the equation - we shot 50% and lost. We don’t normally shoot 50% from the field. We can’t shut this team down when it matters. I just don’t see it happening.

Thank you, we don't need this negativity

I think we’ll be fine with it.

If Jalen Brunson gets up on the podium and says we lost because of GKF’s negativity on RealGM I’ll re-think my posts.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

OG has to play better because he sure can't play any worse ... though he did have that nice spurt in the 4th quarter. It was a weird game for him. He was so out of sync and had trouble even holding onto the ball at times, as if he had dipped his hands in olive oil before the game.

And as a fan, I have every right to spotlight the truth: The team tossed a win in the garbage because they have no earthly clue what they're doing.

Kind of a relevant detail to the Knicks discussion, I would think, yes JVG? :dontknow:
