damn, how do you miss that call? it was clearly off mitchell, wnba refs need as much work as the fever starting lineup.

This is embarrassing, we just missed about 3 minutes of game time because the stupid Amazon streaming system just ran ad after ad.

Terrible first quarter from Indy, a bunch of role players who thought they were stars pounding the ball and going 1v1. That was painful. They sorted it out in the second, and those double teams down low helped the defense. Finally, I didn't have on my bingo card that Dantas would be Indy's best center in the first half!

As for Bonner's bread and butter, yeah as a WNBA newbie I'm struggling with that one too.

Caught the end of the Fever game. Sophie is back! The versatility she adds to different lineups is so good.

The Fever get a LOT better when Sophie replaces Bonner. As Chuck says, Father Time is undefeated.

Sucks losing Betnijah for the year, but getting Cloud and getting MJ back in seafoam is pretty awesome. Gardner and KB all provide length and spacing and Sabally is a solid backup. The length on defense can wear teams down.

Urkel with his fancy Xs and Os isn't making me forget Spoon one iota. You can say that they had no offensive plan last year but at least they were always competitive. Developing into a hate-watch scenario.

I agree at some point, but you gotta give him more than these 1st two brutal match-ups.
Fever and Liberty are going to make a lot of teams look bad this year.

For a lot of the game last night, they were getting solid looks, but just missing. Or the Liberty defender would recover well, as they do. GIve Cardoso those same looks when it's not Jonquel Jones and it goes differently (or Cardoso keeps developing).

New coach, new system, early, all that. The only returning starters are the two young bigs still learning to play a different way.
Good news is that Sloot looked better this game

Next 4 games are Sparks, Mercury, and the WIngs twice. Should give Urkel a little more room to show off those fancy X's and O'x.

And while the -60 is the worst two-game start in W history, it's important to remember the record before was -57 set by the 2024 Fever and obviously they turned that around quite well.

But if it doesn't turn around, the Lynx have been the Sky's pick next year.

I think it's way too early to panic, but their guard play is terrible and I don't think they should be trying to force feed Angel in the post. Let her bang inside on the glass and get dirty work points while she continues to develop her jumpshot.

I wouldn't have fired Coach Spoon tbh but I'm biased.
