These are the games they were supposed to win.

Wolves need to implement a zone.

Minny will definitely win at lest one in Minny imo.
I love Caruso but he is their second best player, that doesn’t scream sweep to me.

Honestly I don’t think it matters what they do. They can player A less or player B more changes defense up. They’re just overmatched.

Oh for sure. But there’s always a possibility of outlier 3-point shooting or injury.
Just try to extend the series and then you never know.
Not gonna be a sweep is all I was saying. Young team could easily have a letdown in game 3 and then Minny wins game 4 and who knows.
But OKC the better team completely agree.

Shai is really having an all-time season thats not being discussed enough. Stacks up to the best of any guard season of any post Jordan, and is arguably the best. Curry's 2016 RS was better, but he faltered some in the playoffs. If OKC goes on to win the title, Shai will have a claim over him

OKC getting better as the playoffs go on as predicted. Still not shooting the 3 well but you can see the control they have over the entire game.

Hard to see a different outcome. In hindsight, Wolves had by far the easiest road to the conference finals of all 4 teams which is probably why I’m so surprised by how uncompetitive they are.

Wolves stopped spamming threes, started driving to the rim with more frequency, and got a handful of fts in the 4th quarter. I’m no expert but maybe the amount you drive to the basket correlates with the amount of free throws you get. Hmmm…

the wolves need to just bite the bullet and send a body to shai every possession he is handling the ball and live with those results. thunder shot < 30% from three again, just let them beat you with long distance shot making. plus you get some turnover potential by forcing shai into making contested passes instead of getting past his primary defenders and doing whatever he wants. wolves did a bit of this late when the game was already over. they need to do it more.

SGA and fouls aside, the Thunder are just a more well rounded team. And the fact that they have so many elite defenders on the perimeter to defend not only Ant, but the other Wolves, makes it very difficult for them to win. It's pretty apparent that Randle, Naz and Rudy all need to be good in the same game to even compete, because the backcourt is a total mismatch.

Problem with the Wolves is they definitely have one player they just can't play maybe 2 if you include Conley.

TWolves are tuff, well coached.

But OKC might just win this in 5 or 6.

I still think OKC has problem with physicality. Denver was physical and Knicks are the more physical of the 2. Of course it also depends on the whistle, if refs will let them play. Here they're calling almost everything.

Pacers match up well against OKC's strength - their guards and wings. OKC Pacers will be the more fun match up to watch.
