We have to come out like how the Sixers did the New Jersey Nets in the 2019 playoffs.

D'Angelo Russell and the Nets stole game 1 in Philly and thought everything was sweet...

Then the Nets lost the next four games convincingly...

I want to see the Knicks come back more than just resilient after letting game one slip away.. I want them to play with a serious edge and overcook these frauds the next four games. :x

This isn't a movie with a happy ending. It's rank incompetence. That doesn't go away because you want it to.

Carlisle knows what he's doing ... we committed like 15 laughable mistakes because Thibs needs to be put out to pasture but won't be.

the team responds well anytime they lost in the playoffs.

Different situation my friend. We are arguably not better than the Pacers at all and we're not better enough to survive something that had a 000.1% chance of happening. And that 000.1% chance came from willfully committing unthinkable stupidity that opened a door that was closed. That is going to have some effect on morale right? This is not like some full court shot that went in at the buzzer.

No, the Knicks could explain that away. But that's not what happened. This was Thibs essentially, in effect, intentionally running the team bus into a ditch.

You're not surviving that.

Come on, dude, we're tryin' ova here, but you dumpin' it all ova us...

Image

Ye of little faith  Just use your own logic...they needed to do something that had a .1 percent chance of happening to pull out this win...how is this in their favor?

Can't wait to see you after we wash them, don't be sad, enjoy the game.

If Jalen Brunson gets up on the podium and says we lost because of GKF’s negativity on RealGM I’ll re-think my posts.

The negativity just sets a black cloud over us, as if we're down 3-0, win tomorrow and take game 3 and you are exactly where you're supposed to be

The goal was to win both in NY.

But let’s say they win tomorrow - I’m not gonna be satisfied at all until I see them go on the road and win. And that win needs to be a statement win. Not down 20 and come back to win. Come out and win wire to wire. Show what you’re made of.

I mean they play better on the road then at home, all is going to be good, lets get this W in 12 hours then we can move onto the ass whooping we gonna give these scrubs in indiana

crazy finish for indi which wont be replicated again and yet they had no answer for Brunson or KAT, we get a decent game from OG or bridges and these games wont be close

What they’re made of is poor decisions, selfishness, not thinking before acting and hubris, all with the soft as baby poo foundation of a coach who has no real plans, no standards, no coaching and not a clue of how to make sure his team is balanced, prepared and ready to defeat the opponent.

serious question, with this mindset why watch or root for the team?

people really doom and gloom over a loss, they took their foot of the petal and paid dearly, same mistake wont be made again. I was more worried at 1-1 VS detroit and 2-0 VS boston then this current situation.

Well, we had no answer for Nesmith. Up to Thibs now. Don't just let "the game tell you what to do." F*ck*n DO IT - Coach a bit.

It legit took those two things for the Pacers to essentially steal game 1. The Knicks outplayed them for a majority of the game.

Win game 2, and everything is forgiven. We all expected this to likely be a 1-1 series after 2 games anyway.

I'm not talking about that. I know he's a great 3-point shooter. I'm more so stating that he'll never go on a stretch like that again where he makes like 6 threes in a row in a 2-3 min span.

And I'm showing you his percentages in these playoffs that show he's capable of doing it again.

The answer is to matchup, get over screens, or switch, not some overly complicated thing that players already don’t know themselves lol

At this point I would sign up for 2-2 going into game 5. 3 game series with home court is still a win after losing game 1.

But 3-1 would be cool too :D
