All the Knicks have to do is play their elite defense. End of story.
And Thibs needs to play Deuce and Mitch more. Another end of story. Make sure OG and Hart doesnt play too many minutes
and we're good.

I'm only worried about the Knicks defense, we can score at will against the Pacers thats not an issue, they get too many easy shots against us, it was a problem last year and its a problem now.

Which elite defense you talking about. We been bottom of the league all season at defending the 3 and pretty much mid in every other defensive statistic. But anyway they have gotten this far even despite all this so kudos to them and LFG!

A loss tonight throws the entire regime under intense scrutiny

Every time I hear “nothing will ever be the same again” I think about the tobacco ads where the guy had a tracheotomy and tube placed speaking through them with the monotone robotic voice

Not necessarily.

When Boston lost the first two at home, the pressure was on, but many people still picked them to win the series.

The fall-out for Boston was losing the series, not the first two games. Their issues are now pretty serious due to Tatum's injury and key players aging out. Losing the series pretty much put their need for a rebuild on the front burner.

If we suffer a similar fate I doubt it will shake up very much with the FO or the coaching staff. Getting to the ECF is the best result of this century and our core roster is still in its prime years so don't expect a big shake-up however these playoffs go.
