Reminder, Alex Caruso was an undrafted guy who started in the G-League, so I hope we strikes gold, not getting too attached to the pick cause it could end up part of a trade deal.

The Wizards have worked out:

Dylan Cardwell - Center
Samson Johnson - Center
Basheer Jihad - Forward
Joson Sanon - Guard

So we're also looking at the 2nd round for a Center, these are all 2nd round/G-League pick-ups.

Yang looks like a helluva player to get at 40.

But... I fear he'll be gone.... :(

I think we might be looking at having to take yang at 18 which I would not be upset with. He looks like one hell of a player! He's got an NBA ready body. Can move really well for his size and is strong as ****. I love this kid.

How can you not love a guy his mother named Bogoljub.

Don't forget our own Justin Champagnie.

That #40 pick... as much as I'd like to see it used for a player, I think it will get packaged in trade with Kispert for a 1st rnd pick plus future pick.

Any chatter about potentially picking up one? We have what, four 2nd rounders next year?

I would love to trade a few of the 2nd rounders we have to get up into the top 5 of the 2nd round. Fleming is there, so is Penda.

I will say though, looking at the 2nd round picks we have: ours, Phoenix (unprotected), Chicago (unprotected) and then a complicated swap. I believe the Chicago pick might go to the Knicks if we don't convey our FRP next year though.

Top of my board is Fleming, Penda, Broome, Thiero, Raynaud, Sallis.
But my sneaky pick that matches our profile...Sion James
Basically a poor man's Desmond Bane. Maybe Dillion Brooks-esque?
- Build like a LB and gets downhill
- Hard worker with High IQ with elite assist numbers (AST%, AST:TOV, AST/USG%)
- Much improved shooter (31% first 3 years, 40% last 2 years)
- Great defensive feel/tenacity

Best available picks for tonight, we have enough forwards and guards, and the PF/Centers are 4-year players, so it will be interesting to see who take picking 13th from the leftovers.

Out on Toohey? I had him top 20. Think he can be a full time PF in the NBA.

Love his defense and IQ, along with hustle/physicality. But he has poor shooting numbers on low volume, no dribble/pullup, and will get blown by quicker guards/wings.
I wouldn't hate it, but would prefer Penda for that role
