They beat the NBA Champs and are in the conference finals. They are absolutely contenders.
They are also still very much in this series. They won two games in Boston, they can certainly do the same in Indiana.

Denver has zero 2025 draft picks, the other 3 just have a single 2025 2nd rounder each.Wingy wrote:As brilliant as Brunson is, idk about a small 1 taking a team all the way. Even with a pretty great supporting cast, the Knicks are going to fall plenty short.
It should be an interesting front office battle for depth this offseason. Many high-profile teams desperately need it.
NY, Denver, GSW, LAL. Think you can add Boston to the list too even if Tatum were healthy. Who’s going to successfully scrape the barrel? I think the aprons have made winning on the FA margins more important than ever.
Nuggets and Knicks are dancing dangerously close to the 2nd apron.
Lakers could probably use the tax payer MLE, depends what happens with LeBron.
Warriors could use the full MLE, they also have a decent little TPE. We'll see what happens with Kuminga. Probably in the best position of the 4 to add depth this summer.
