if you have a wing who is quick footed and allowed to play physical against Clark then you can really mess up her and the Fevers offensive flow. I heard something about the wnba directing the refs to allow more freedom of movement, but so far it hasnt helped Indy.

Lexie Hull continues to be underappreciated. I think her and Cunningham both would be better in the starting lineup over Bonner, who just looks washed honestly.

I mean yes, that's the way to play her, but the Dream covered her the same way on Tuesday and Clark went off on them ...

Getting called for a foul often can't have helped Clark either.
Very hard to build rhythm when you get pulled for foul trouble so often.

Either Bonner will sort it out or White will soon make that change, because the team can't keep digging 1st quarter holes, thanks in part to Bonner missing in action.

saw something on wgn about the racist comment allegations from the sky game. i assumed it happened somewhere close to the sky bench or entrance tunnel but in the video it was a fan describing that she heard in the upper part of the arena. still under investigation but that would make it more understandable why nobody heard anything close to the court.

I still say Bonner needs some time, it's been 2 games and she may still be getting her "old" legs under her. Cunningham was balling her ass off tho, no surprise there. I felt bad for her when she got caught up in that current mess going on with the Mercury brass.

Anyway. Saturday. 1pm. Liberty vs Fever. Bring it!!!

Should be interesting. Last year, these two teams were not at all on the same level. I'm not sure they are now either, but it will be an interesting gauge of where we are. I wonder if the LIberty are going to try to hack Caitlin like the Dream did.

For me, the Fever need to punish those hard-pressing Caitlin defenders by setting some hard screens with Boston. (But not moving screens, Lord knows, there have been too much of them.) If as a defender you are nose to nose with the attacking player, as the Dream defenders were with Caitlin, then you are in poor position to see and avoid the screener.

My point being that face guarding Caitlin definitely brings defensive benefits. But the tactic also contains disadvantages that the Fever should do a better job of exploiting.

Well, the Fever had their chances, couldn't get it done though.

Frustrating loss... But the reffing didn't help at all.
The Lexie foul call was BAD

That was one of the best games I've seen Boston play against actual top bigs.

Clark and White have got to work the refs in the media though. Pretty BS FT disparity.

At this point I just expect the refs to screw Indiana.

when Caitlin has off shooting games is when i feel she forces some of her passes and gets a higher turnover rate.

Bonner looked better today. Her offense still looks bad but her defense and rebounding were key.

And she got whacked on that shot.
Yes I am still annoyed about the refs.

if the Fever can make the same type of jump that last years squad did then they will be a force. Today illustrated a Fever team that has questions that will need more games to find the answers to.

man, when Clark hits a 3 there is just nothing like it outside of Curry. They feel like they count for more then 3 points.
