Needed Freddy to do a bit better than 100 pitches in 4.1 innings imo.

Cubs and Cards had come from behind wins. I know there are more than a hundred games to go but it seems as if the season is slipping away.

An inning too late to bring in Ashby (yes 20/20 hindsight but Alexander is garbage)

I'm over Tyler Alexander
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

That's kind of his thing. Trade him before he starts doing this every other game again, IMO.

I've talked a good game about rebuilding since 2017 or so, but I always end up rooting for wins in spite of myself because everyone has a chance if you just sneak into the playoffs. This is fast becoming the first year where I'm really, truly hoping for a tear-it-down rebuild - not just in my head, but in my fan feels too. Today might be the first time since 2016 that I was truly indifferent when they lost a winnable game.
Wut we've got here is... faaailure... to communakate.

This was the season I was expecting last year but feels way more disappointing than it would have a year ago.

Would be hard spin losing 3 of 4 to Pittsburgh so hopefully Henderson keeps it rolling and the Crew score some runs.

He's a strikeout pitcher so I doubt it happens. Plus, Murph. But it'd be nice if Logan could go at least seven today.
