The TWolves won every quarter, that's how you maintain momentum heading into game 4.

General attitude among Timberwolves fans is that Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is a massive flopper (the extent to which that is fair doesn't really matter), so he's kind of on the **** list.

I mean the Thunder crowd is louder and they offer some respect.

Really speaks to the fans.

With peace and love, OKC fans are still booing Kevin Durant nine years after leaving in free-agency.

This is why I'm skeptical OKC will retire his number. Jersey retirements are really subjective decisions based on how fans and the team feel about a player. OKC fans just don't seem to love OKC and because there was no title it is easier for them to not retire him. Especially since the fans love Russ who can represent that era.

143 points when two starters score 6 points is crazy.

Why didn't Minnesota give Ingles a few minutes? The crowd was chanting for him and Minnesota was up by 40 something.

MPJ was playing with one arm, and AG had a hamstring injury. If the Nuggets made it, it would be a very lop-sided series.

Can't believe Joe Ingles didn't get in the game.

What a massacre. ANT is such a talent, when he uses his physical advantages, he plays like a top 3 player in the NBA.

OKC won't retire his jersey. Presti and our entire organisation knows how the fans feel about Durant.

His number was used after he left btw

The Lakers retired Cooper's number and the Spurs retired Bowen's number because those guys played critical roles in a glory era. It wasn't because they were ever among the best players in the NBA or that their fans felt those guys were among the best in the NBA. Their numbers were retired because the fans and the team as a company loved em for the effort with which they played and the way they maximized their talent.

And that is exact opposite of KD in OKC. If his run was something like Kareem in Milwaukee, who had a much more graceful exit, than yeah his number gets retired. But his run wasn't nearly as good and his exit was fairly brutal.

and after he left he kept trashtalking about our team and our coach (well he was right about Billy Donovan). This isn't the kind of stuff our franchise values.

I don't know why OKC is still starting the same 5 because we know we are better with only one big on the floor. Just start Cason or Caruso and make it more difficult for ANT and easier to space the floor on offense.

Exactly. And just to expand on the Kareem comparison, that's a really important difference. Kareem as far as I know never did that. He didn't particularly like living in Milwaukee but he never went out of his way to disrespectfully rag on the city. Nor did he rag on the team after he left. Which made it much easier for Milwaukee fans to move on even if they were disappointed that he left.

The worst example of this in my lifetime was Melo and Denver who really went out of his way to make clear what he thought of Denver.

If Minnesota plays this type of defense more consistently they'll win the West. This game is inflated, but I expected great defense from them all series

I don't see how OKC recovers from this.
