Cedric Coward Staying In 2025 NBA Draft

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Sat May 24, 2025 5:37 pm

Forward Cedric Coward is staying in the 2025 NBA Draft as an early entry candidate. Coward was set to play at Duke this upcoming season had he withdrawn from the draft. After a strong combine, Coward has chosen to stay in the draft.

Coward played in six games at Washington State last season. Prior to that, the 6-foot-6 wing played Eastern Washington, after starting his career at Willamette. Coward has shown off an accurate three-point shot, in addition to being a solid defender, rebounder and improving playmaker.

ESPN has Coward ranked as a late first-round pick to early second-round selection in the draft. Many teams were impressed by his showing at the recent draft combine, which has some thinking Coward will be selected in the first round.

This is a tough last name. I don’t understand parents who name their kids these types of last names. It’s just asking to be bullied and I’m sure this kid had plenty of it.

They named him Cedric. They chose to continue to be proud of their family name. Yeah it’s not a normal last name but maybe people should just get over it and mature a bit.
Being a Blazer fan isn't exactly healthy.
