i think Sexton would be a better target if Denver is trading their 2031 1st. I think Ainge would love to get such a high variance (let's be real, probably lottery, Jokic will be 36) pick out of eating a couple small salaries and trading one decent player. Clarkson hasn't been a good shooter in a while.

Kuzma does save money vs Jrue long term, but if Kings are willing to go straight up with DDR that is better imo.

My goodness.

You are REALLY going to be disappointed with the return for Zion should NO move him this offseason. Take out Nembhard and Mathurin and it's still an overpay by the Pacers IMO.

Gravity and getting older will only further enhance the disaster that's been Zion's NBA career up to this point.

The best you could do is take out Bens Sheppard and Mathurin and put Obi in instead; Nembhard basically has to be in it, he has the salary. That could be a more fair trade, probably not worth it for the Pels tho.

IMO Haliburton is the only player on the Pacers less likely to be moved/traded than Nembhard.

Nembhard is an ideal complement to Hali who can also lead the bench if needed, locked in on a below-market contract. I just can't see Indy moving him in the foreseeable future.

Denver would need to send out more salary in order to trade for Sexton. Two more players or one of the four making more than Nnaji.
