Pacers have multiple guys that can attack with jumpers off the pull up and Knicks can’t guard it. Meanwhile their offense is horrendous without Brunson.
2019 Eastern Conference All Stars
Derozan
Lowry
Ibaka
Valanciunas
Van Vleet
Delon Wright
Lebron
Embiid
There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

He’s certainly better than Butler these days, and healthier.
Cheaper too. I think lol

Reggie shouldn't be able to do Pacers games though. I'll give you that. I normally like Reggie but right now I'm like shut up hah.

The Pacers = 80% of our offense will be attacking KAT or Brunson
Knicks = let's see what Brunson and Kat can do Isoing their primary defenders, or hectic 3s.

Indy...too deep...and play too fast for NY.
Perfect example...Siakam goes off last game, is 7th in team scoring this game. Doesn't matter. Team scoring. Hell all 10 guys they have played tonight have scored.
Pacers vs a healthy Bos team would have been fun to watch.
OKC should be able to match them. Minny won't.

OGs gotten some easy dunks/layups off of simple pindown screens. The same play repeated. The Pacers are not a good defensive playoff team. Thibs, like Nurse, does not run an offense.
A hopelessly lopsided coaching matchup.

Indy gave them some hope at the end of the second. Might come back to bite them in the ass later this game. Should have killed them when they had the chance but gave them breathing room

The 2 picks Indy got from rebuilding were Mathurin and Walker. Mathurin is in the rotation but has probably been their 8th or 9th most important player. Walker is out of the rotation all together.
Been super fun watching their run without an elite superstar talent, just a bunch of really good players that work well together and are unselfish. Blueprint is there for our own team to follow next season.

You sure about that? Indianapolis over NYC? Pacers over Knicks?
The challenge on the Haliburton Towns play prime example. Even Reggie and Stan said Hali fouled first but they ruled it marginal. But Brunson gets bumped hard just bringing the ball up, every time he dribbles. And no calls.
Knicks are playing badly, and Towns takes the stupidest fouls, but refs are one sided too. I heard Antonio Daniels on ESPN radio today say much the same, that refs allowing physical play these playoffs is really benefitting Indy.
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.

and again, he'll never be as good as powell is ever in his career. which is why I keep saying how age doesn't mean ****. this is why I don't give a damn how old gradey dick is when we're talking about projections. and like i said again, just because you can't foreshadow a player's potential based on his skills, doesn't mean you can use that as an argument that everyone would've made that same trade. i said years before norman blew up that if they had invested in him the way they invested in derozan, he could've been an all-star early in his career.
this argument about salary dumping again means nothing... the pelicans just salary dumped ingram on us for bruce brown... does that mean bruce brown is as good as brandon ingram? it was a horrible trade then for numerous reasons and in retrospect it's even worse. Hopefully some of these guys pan out because if not we're in for another tough stretch of **** basketball... the leafs are a flop, the jays look like they need to blow it up, toronto sports is looking meh right now.
If Gary Trent Jr had Gradey's skills and put in the work while on court Gradey does the trade would have been a home run. Gradey needs to get stronger so he doesn't get ragged dolled around. Can he? IDK.
I’m still not sure what all of these so called skills gradey dick has are… it’s much more realistic to believe an underperforming 13th overall pick with average athleticism and who can’t even be elite at the one skill he was supposed to be elite at won’t pan out than to keep assuming hes just gonna get better with more work. There are so many more talented players that don’t pan out. Like I said, I’m the first one to hype people up if I see things in them… hence the Norman Powell support… gradey dick isn’t it.

I don't think so. I was complaining in the first game how the offenses were too loose, playing regular season ball, mostly because there was no resistance on D from either team. This favoured the Knicks because they have far bigger vulnerabilities on that end.
That's over. The Mitch substitution closed off the biggest vulnerability at the start, drawing even, but Indy's offense is now targeting the weak points relentlessly, like you're supposed to in the playoffs.
If the Knicks focused on Haliburton at every possession - like every possession a Brunson/KAT PNR when they're out there - maybe you get something going, but that should have happened in the first half.

Indy "treadmilling" their way to a championship is the timeline most entertaining for this board

GTJ didn’t develop at all, and Norm managed to add to his game late in his career.
Just an all around everything bad that could happen happeneed type deal
No idea why people keep pushing the you do the norm trade every time. Wasn’t even equal talent value at the time and again gtjs potential was always gonna be limited.
If anyone should’ve been traded at peak value it should’ve been fvv.
Fred should have definitely been traded because the idea was to bring him back on a similar value contract he already had before and hope another team doesn’t offer more. Horrible strategy. You either think he’s worth what he’s asking or don’t and move him. Kicking the can down the road was risky. Obviously we’re better with him but ultimately we couldn’t keep him and got nothing.
Gave you an And1 before reading your last sentence and now I want to take it back. Is there a way to do that?

Dudes a league calorie burner. His IQ is top notch. Yes if he can't hit shots or defend it's nullified. It's been posted he's still a plus analytically. JJ Reddick gave him a shout out. He's a dick. No pun intended. He doesn't give shout outs for the sake of it. I have full faith in Gradey if he can bulk up. I'm not sure he can though.

There have been 8(?) possessions at the start of the 3rd. KAT has been the target on 5 of them, 2 were transition where Brunson got caught on the Haliburton matchup for 1. And then another one just targeting Brunson.
One team is playing to win.
