I guess low key the 5th foul on JB saved us. Should have been a charge but Scott Foster knew better :wavefinger:

Id start McBride, let him be the point guard and let Mitch come off the bench.

I was very impressed with Wright and Shamet. They both play with passion and grit and their defense is contagious and rubs off on others. Can't believe it took Thibs until game 3 of the conference finals to play these guys. So many of us have been yearning for a deeper rotation since the all-star break.

And it's also the correct personnel to battle the Pacers wings, provided a second ball handler to beat the press, and get the ball to KAT in position to cause damage.

Completely off topic but they got to get a older PG to come in and help Brunson improve that part of his game

Also great game for KAT but the fact that defensively he and Brunson have to be staggered either by the coaches or by fouls says a lot and should be the biggest question about this roster. Like the offensive talent is definitely there but there is a glaring defensive hole on the roster as well.

I love that this team gutted it out. I think that might be maybe a core aspect of their team personality. Don’t quit!

Brunson is almost not a PG at this point. He may really be better as the SG next to a real PG.

I'd say Kolek, but then you'd have too weak a defensive backcourt.

Brunson needs to play next to a strong defender. Maybe Deuce can be his mate and they can both distribute the ball with Brunson go off ball more often, but Deuce is not really a PG either

but you're probably right, Brunson needs a good veteran PG to tutor him. Or hire a retired PG to coach him. Inject some Andre Miller into his veins or someone like that.

It’s not hate, but this is not his series — he did help us win the other series

And no I won’t be suspending myself … I’m giving basketball opinions that often happen to be right

:rofl2:

and stop saying you like him. you don't. just own up to it. and he just had 2 great games in this series. this one was just ok.

I do like him. You can’t read my mind. I’m honest, but he’s a one way player and I don’t think his defense is as good as you do

Listen we don’t agree but I think you’re a smart, good guy. Just be happy your team won a big one

you don't like him. and i don't like kat. who was great in the 4th quarter. but we don't have to pretend. and it has nothing to do with you and me. don't be silly.

KAT earned his keep tonight. Hell of a second half.

Lineup change and Delon Wright and Shamet playing....why does it take so long for these adjustments?

But we are back in this series!

Mrs. MP is gonna make that basement your permanent residence watching the game on your phone at a wedding... but worth it!

She actually wasn't there. Was with my brothers it was a cousins weddings like 4 hours away and no kids we allowed so they are young and we didn't feel comfortable leaving with a sitter that far away.

But it's hilarious she texted me during the wedding not how the wedding was going. She texted me how the Knicks were doing.

She knows me too well lol

In my defense - most my kat slander was to talk sht to Chanel.

Kat was a proxy war like Vietnam. Something sham knows a lot about.
