The second line-up is not going to work at all. You will have 3 guys poor on defense that all need the ball. If anything these playoffs should have taught us that KAT and JB together is too iffy defensively. I would go the route of trading KAT for 2 good 2-way players OR in a Giannis trade. I suggested during the season something along the lines of KAT for Turner and Nesmith.

Both teams from WCF are winning the games they are supposed to win and only once in a series they steal one. Both teams from ECF are losing the games they are supposed to win and are surprisingly better away. Been like that since round 1.

That's why I'm not even mad at this point. Either the Knicks or Pacers are going to easily lose the finals. You can just see that OKC and the Wolves are at a higher level. The Knicks will struggle to score against OKC big time. OKC from 1-10 is full of good, physical defenders that will make life difficult for our scorers---same goes for Minny.

There was a moment after the Boston series where I thought I may have underestimated the Knicks but I'm right back to where I was after the Pistons series. The Knicks are a good --not great-- team with a lot of ups and downs and inconsistant play whose defense is probably overall the worst out of the 4 remaining teams.

Just Nesmith would be the perfect 2 way forward to rotate in with OG and Mikal. I don't know how Indy would ever trade him to Knicks, but a 3nD guy like him off the bench would be perfect.

It's a dream to think Dadiet could become that guy, and Kolek and Huk also become good rotation players at 1 and 5. But I'm hoping for that. Looking forward to those 3 in summer league

Back then, I think it was in january or so when I posted that idea it was meant more as a blueprint of how I would proceed...not saying Indy would do it. Just the idea to get 2 2-way guys than can shoot and score in the 12-17 point range really. Surround Brunson with an army of guys that can shoot and defend. I don't know if it is realistic or not but KAT is a 25/12 Center that is a historically good shooter so I think a team could be swayed into such a deal.

Kat might thrive more in Indy's offense too, get more open looks like Turner does off kickouts. Turner has been underwhelming this series though, but Indy might miss his shotblocking compared to Kat's bad D
