Marcus Morris says Thibs played Delon and Shamet because he had to. will be interesting to see if he goes back to them. Also says Towns had towns to work without Brunson very interesting. Maybe go back to Kat with bench so we can slit Brunson and Kat with defenders.

I think Robinson needs to go back to the bench. He looked like he was about to puke and collapse on the floor. Pacers were flying up a down the floor and he couldn’t keep up anymore. He’s better off the bench.

Mikal struggling to shoot no matter who he plays with. He just can’t shoot. 6-18 from the field and 1-6 from 3 and continuing to shoot poorly not just this series but all playoffs long. He’s been the worst fit in the starting lineup, doesn’t really add anything. He has to improve his shooting otherwise what good is he?

From the top face up KAT is a great passer

From the corner and especially back to basket he’s a poor passer

Mikal’s legs are not there, from all the minutes and I guess he’s doing a good job on D

But he’s still subject to lapses on D and shouldn’t be shooting 3s period

OG is back for me. But Tom and Mikal are permanent members of my list.

There once was a poster named KnicksGod on the RealGM hoops forum
Whose moods swang from euphoria to rage, then contempt and boredom
Some days the players were stupid, the coach would burn in hell
Other times they regained his favor and they were now just swell
And thus they carried on with their consistently inconsistent decorum

So poetic! But that former poster KnicksGod has transitioned into a new poster with a bowdlerized name, Kick_God

I realize that, but that poem is in Nantucket so I opted not to post it

That ain’t it. He’s bricking shots from opening tip and if anything he’s actually gotten into some rhythm at the end of the game when so that goes against the theory of him not having his legs. It’s just him being inconsistent that’s all it is

Mitch def tires but I guess it’s true we got off to a better start

I mean I didn’t like what I saw and Mitch did look like he was about to puke

But doesn’t matter — Thibs ain’t changing the lineup now, no way

Deuce is averaging 33% from the field and 27% from 3 in the series. I dont see the point here

Ya good point

Cumulative fatigue tho, but he is better at the end

Dunno. But his 3 suuucks

Shoot closer to the rim … he’s good on the fade and that’s about that

The stretch where Indy went on a run was mostly self inflicted. Bad turnovers led to some easy buckets and open looks. Brunson looked way off. We really didn't even play that well in this one.

Need to put together a complete 48min game in the next one. Turnovers are so key cause that's when Indy gets out and runs

Towns travel was insanity. things even out.

the way brunsons been guarded this entire playoffs has been insane... yet hes raking up fouls is hilarious.

I honestly watched it myself in slow motion back and forth and I think they’d sustain the foul —

He gets the block only by jumping into Deuce and making body contact

Not 100% clear but he’s jumping laterally

Leave Kat at Center and bring Robinson off the bench like we been doing all year. Kat is destroying the Pacers, maybe if Thibs didn't bench him in game 2 we could have won. 26pt&11rbs a game, feed the man.

His defense is impactful and he has only taken 18 shots in this series so his numbers can improve significantly in a single game.

And about half of his scoring so far is from free throws which means some of those missed FGs were turned into points at the free throw line so his FG% is not as bad as you think.

He's a better scoring option than Hart with better defense so I don't see why you don't see the point.

The previous game turned around because of him, Wright and Shamet
