Boston- might pay some to get less money back as part of a bigger trade with Nets likely eating some salary from a team that gets KP or Jrue.

Memphis. Might pay something to dump Konchar and Clarke, neither are expiring but small contracts in hope to renegotiate JJJ.

Giannis/KD trades. Likely a good opportunity to eat some money here to help team circumnavigate the aprons requirements.

Maybe Minny pays something to dump Conley to bring back all their FAs.

FA is barren for a team like the Nets. Unless a young player falls through the cracks and is a bargain, I would not be excited about the idea of giving anyone on that list a top of the market offer. I am already dreading the contract they are likely going to give Cam Thomas, I would be hoping for a SNT there too for some kind of asset.

Yes he will probably take the PO if no one can pay him (free agency or sign and trade)

But I’m sure we’ll see players takes paycut to come to the spurs. Maybe not this summer but not long after

Lowkey this year’s free agency isn’t very impressive & from what I understand there isn’t a lot of cap money regardless.

I think a lot of players are going to make deals to return to their teams based on bird rights.

The three guys I think we might see a bidding war for are Giddey, and Jerome. I also think Kuminga ends up leaving.

If I had to predict Brooklyn tries to get Giddey but the Bulls Match unless it’s outlandish, I also think if it does then the Bulls pull a S&T for Kuminga, or if Brooklyn can’t get Giddey they go Kuminga. Basically Kuminga is the 2B option this FA.

As for Turner or Randle I legit thought Detroit would makes a run for one of them with all their cap space but the Cade contract increase situation has really limited them. I can’t fathom what they do now except maybe try to add Ty Jerome next to Cade, though they have Ivey so I could also see them maybe overpaying someone for one year to get access to that money next year’s free agency.

Unlikely Sac exercises that team option. It’s only a one year option and if they do then Keon becomes unrestricted free agent the next year. Sac will let Keon hit the market but try to resign him at a good number. The problem is he may draw better offers than people think and Sac has LeVine playing his spot.
