Every time Wolves get close OKC answers. Fun game
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

17 turnovers by the Wolves. 18 offensive boards by OKC. Still close

Why? We want to see leads trade hands. OKC has been keeping them at arm's length, primarily cuz of dominating the offensive glass. Minny can't move. It reminds me of a better version of our jumbo lineups. It'd behoove them playing smaller too.

An intense playoff game with a constant lead of 0-5 in the 4th quarter is fun to me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

That's 5 points OKC have scored that came directly after almost turning the ball over. Huge swing there.

You wonder how much longer the league will continue with the foul up three nonsense but I doubt they change it.

yeah.. it's complete nonsense. it should be a technical foul to do that. you shouldn't be able to take away an opportunity like that.

I don't see any difference between that and foul-and-chase. You are intentionally fouling for strategic purposes.

NBA needs to move to the Fiba rules where deliberate fouls at the end of games are counted as unsportsmanlike. Technical FT and side out of bounds to the offence. It’s so dull watching FT contests like that in such a big game.

Plus it’d be nice to see guys have to actually play defence and try force a steal.

Yep, if you were coming up with a solution to end fouling up 3 (to allow the game to be decided by something other than FTs), you would want to make a rule change broad enough that it would also sweep up the foul-and-chase and the other pernicious loopholes that have become traditional parts of the game due to clever coaches and players over the years, but which fundamentally suck and could be easily eliminated.

There isn't a possible rule change that would fix this. Every sport has this type of thing when you are winning and you do something to help that is technically not in good spirit (although it is, winning is the only goal). It sucks, but we have to live with it. What I would hate is seeing some new rule that just borks the game even more.

You don't like, be winning. Terrible answer I know, but it's the reality. You don't like kneeling in football? Be winning. You don't like teams holding possession in soccer late game? Be winning.

What really sucks is I had OKC -3 so it screwed me haha.

Would be curious if this would result in more close games or less. As others noted, double edged sword

This may be significant for us because it takes away the non-tax MLE from the Lakers. Hard for them to get a viable center w/out making a trade. We have 2 sign and trade options - Bobby & Brook. Let's get in the Reaves' sweepstakes. Center + '31 1st for Reaves.
