I'll say it: Randle should be benched.

Not to just come off the bench. For the rest of the series. After watching his body language on those last couple of possessions, he was clearly in his feels. The playoffs are not for feelings getting hurt.

He's a trick or treat guy.

Just last week, he was a heró and the Wolves had won the trade.

Might be one of the streakiest players I've ever seen. He can literally go from an all star 25ppg scorer, to Killian Hayes over night.

This thread reminded me I forgot to finish reading The Ringers article about the stunning transformation of Randle and how amazing he is now so I guess you guys saved me some time.

He was doing so good, which was in fact uncharacteristic for him, lets be honest.

No Dunks guys recently talked about him, how his vibes were good so far, and they made observation that when bad vibes start to emerge, with him it just snowballs into something disastrous. We saw him flip off his own fans in NY, complain and excuse himself after colosal failures. It really is with him that until everythings fine, hes great, but something bad happens, bad feels*vibes appear and it snowballs into avalanche of bad things.

I honestly think he put up a clunker last night because of the 4th quarter KAT had the night before. He wanted to one-up KAT and it cost him and his team dearly. At least Ant was making good passes to his red-hot teammates.

His Wolves playoff stats are still great. 21/6/5 on 50/36/88.

I’m a Knicks fan and have zero qualms with him flipping the fans the bird. He was put in an impossible situation, struggled, and the crowd targeted him instead of the non-existent backcourt defense. It’s human to get mad in that situation.

And when did Julius complain & make excuses in NY?

Julius isn’t always great at taking criticism, but he’s also been caricatured badly by media people that haven’t followed his career that closely.

I still think the trade was pretty bad. You don't trade a solid big man who can do what Karl Anthony Towns does, for Randle.

If that was the case, shoulda traded for Siakam. Raptors would've taken KAT back with open arms. Or another high caliber player.

He feasted on the Lakers and Warriors, the two smallest teams in the playoffs. I gave him his props but never trusted he had turned a corner for a second. His playoff numbers are all time baf for a reason, and he obviously thinks he’s much better than he is.

It’s kinda crazy that Minny has gotten to back to back conference finals with Kat and Randle, i don’t consider either to be good fits next to Ant.

He's a weird player. This is easily the best playoff run of his career, and he was awesome the first two rounds. The last three games are kind of who he is. Terrible, awesome, terrible.

Well he's not going to get a max contract, even if teams who might be interested had cap space had $ (they don't). MIN probably has a number they're not going to go over but Randle won't have much leverage either way.

Randle is not a super athletic guy, or an all nba skill guy as well.

That reason being he played through an injury that required surgery as soon as the playoffs ended, and Elfrid Payton…

NBA fans are the most fickle of all sports.
