Hopefully KAT can go ham again. That 4th quarter was legendary!

It’s like when lil bitches make subliminal records, if it ain’t directed directly at me, I don’t respect it

Pretty sure JB has free rein. It's on Thibs to tell him to get everyone involved.
Part of the challenge with JB finding KAT is KAT sets up behind the top of the arc as a decoy to draw bigs out of the paint. Once Brunson is by him, KAT's out of his field of vision. Pacers have been exploiting that. Brunson needs to remember to feed the KAT once he can't see him. Maybe there's a hockey assist there, if not direct pass.
Not as much of an issue with Wright/Deuce as they're only scoring options when other avenues fail first.

The Wright Stuff
I like wright defensively but on offense if the pacers were smart they’d just not guard him on the perimeter since his reputation is not being able to shoot and that would make things a bit harder for us
He moves the ball well and can help beat the press so not a total loss on that end but I agree that would be the counter. He was good at feeding the KAT.
We tend to push the pace off misses which create chaos on the offensive end which is when our offense usually thrives. It can offset his poor outside shooting

Agreed. Deuce/Wright lineups can match pace.

Our hc sets are 1v1 and tend to not be great even when we have our best offensive players out there cause we are walking the ball up and letting them get set.
When we have defenders out there we push the pace, okay maybe not push, but move faster and dont let the defense get set which leads to better scoring opportunities.
I really do hope we see more wright tonight. His POA defense is nice. He also can sag off the corner 3 and close out in time if the pass is made.
And most importantly he has no delusions he is steph like another mf on our bench.

We'd be up 3-0 if we still had MJ

We went from IQ/Donte scoring 20pts off the bench clamping the opponents guards on D, to hoping Delon Wright can dribble without tripping over his own feet and maybe hit one jumpshot.

Amazing how quiet the Pacers are about Nesmith ankle. If everything was good, it would be all over twitter or X or whatever they call it these days

We had a nearly 130 DRTG when Donte was on the floor in last years playoffs. And IQ was ass in the playoffs every year, what are you even talking about

That's a valid point; I never considered that. Short mofos are a major drag

I think gravy might be a staunch thibs supporter and is disparaging the current bench and gassing up our previous bench in an effort to justify thibs short rotations. A few more suspect post and we will be able to figure out his agenda.

Since Carlisle loves Payne so much and thinks he deserves mins we should let em borrow him for this games since nesmith is hurt.

Don't think it's a must-must-win but pretty close. Expecting everyone to be pulling in the same direction, not be selfish, and put together our best game this series.

I know you think it's cute to **** on our bench but Wright's turnover rate is really low.

Choosing Delon Wright over IQ or Donte is nasty work. What are we even talking about lol

His agenda is transparent, and it also involves mentioning stuff from like a decade ago as to why something today won't work. All people want from Wright is his defense, just get over screens and make the Pacers offense work a little harder
