This was the best performance from our big 3 IMO. Best Thunder game in those POs as well. Wolves are scary good. Just pissed at the lack of depth because we can't count on Joe and Wiggins when it matters.

I can't believe how good was Wolves bench. Walker and DDV played like possessed. Shannon scored 9 in 7 minutes.

But our Big 3 outperformed them all. Dream game from JDub and Chet.

In summer, Presti needs to do something with picks and Joe/Wiggins. He should get proven veteran player for the bench.
Kenrich is better than them and that is very weird.

100% it's so far ahead of game 7 against Denver. We played way better and our mental strength was unbelievable. I thought we were going to lose when the Wolves tied the game for the second time late 3rd or early 4th don't remember. As a fan it's depressing to watch how hard Shai has to work to find a good shot and make it and then on the other side u watch NAW and DiVincenzo hitting open 3's so it takes a lot of strength to be able to keep going at it.

the only thing I wonder is if it's a good thing to give so many open corner 3's to opponents role players. I know you gotta give up something but Minny has good enough shooters and it was the second game in a row they were hitting them at almost 50%. We lost the Dallas series partly due to that but they had some players that don't shoot the ball as well and we got unlucky...against Denver it was "fine" because you have to pack the paint against Jokic. Just not sure that's the optimal defense against the Wolves but I might be wrong.

Sometimes I gotta remember that it's only year 2 of Chet really playing in the NBA and he barely played one season and a half. That man can easily be a top 10 player in the league if he stays healthy (which is a big if I know). JDub is so inconsistent but he's having a huge series so far.

out of all thunder lineups in this playoffs, the leading lineup in net rating is:

shai - cason - caruso - jdub - chet

109.7 net rating. 42.3 drtg.

seem so obvious right? all the guys that are playing the best at the moment. seemingly perfect fit. jdub/caruso for beefy boys. cason point of attack. shai and chet lurking the weakside.

4 games, 11 minutes used.

this triple C triangle of chet, caruso and cason have been so effective together by the way.

mark is something else, my goodness.

collin murray-boyles looks like a thunder... plus absolutely prototypical complementary 4 to chet's 5. plus extra body to throw at jokic. plus extra 1-5.

i want them to move up for him.

chet is a beast even when he's struggling on offense. sometimes i feel he needs to correct some high school habits, but he's really the most important piece of this defense.

I do because we won't use both #15 and #24 picks but we are not trading for a GREAT player if we win the championship that's for sure. Might be just a small improvement over Joe like a vet that is expiring or with 2 years left on his contract. Presti won't commit huge money with JDub/Chet extension coming and the possibility to keep Cason Wallace as well.

There are a couple of expiring vets that you could get for cheap and I think that's what will happen if we win the title (a bigger talent like Cam Johnson only in the books if we don't win the title IMO).

Bottom line, I really think that Isaiah Joe is gone.

I know it's championship or bust but if OKC wins tomorrow it is enough to say that Shai is the best Thunder player of all time to me.
I like Russ more but tough to argue about Shai incredible regular season and leading a young squad to the Finals (Durant obviously doesn't count and it's not one MVP and one finals trip with Westbrook and Harden that will make up for his ****).

shai is having a jordan 91' type of season for okc, you're definitely entitled to call him whatever you want.

if okc wins it all i'm saying **** it presti is this franchise's goat.

don't say things like this. I had a feeling that Kizz was FINALLY rooting for us. He might get scared now.

I’m fine with that. What I’d really like to see is Shai embraced the way Westbrook is embraced.
