Barcelona has announced a long-term contract extension with Lamine Yamal through 2031. The new deal includes a significant pay bump as he\'s become one of the world\'s best players. In 55 appearances this term, he scored 18 goals and registered 25 assists.
Jorge Mendes met with Joan Laporta earlier this week as Yamal wanted the contract resolved swiftly. When he signed his previous deal in 2023, he was only allowed to commit to the club for a maximum of three years as he was under 18 at the time.
Yamal first joined Barcelona at the age of seven and made his first team debut at the age of 15.
