gotta love it.

we did switch plenty in this series. but at the pace they play our guys get confused on the switches a lot.

ill get you the numbers we are switching far less.

we also do absolutely nothing to prevent Brunson to be involved in the screen. Like we could pre-switch him out of P&R's...

we could switch Brunson on Hali and just live with the results.

the amount of clean looks they got was because it takes one screen to get Mikal off the ball...then we are scrambling with 2 poor defenders. It doesn't work.

BOS is easier to guard because they just love the ISO's...pacers aren't trying to ISO...they are trying to mismatch hunt to force overhelp the find shooters or layups.

KAT is the sole unstoppable force all series long. Even tonight he was dominant in the first half. Then we went completely away

KP with AIDS or whatever it was changes how BOS can attack teams. It was always a gift....we took advantage of it and credit to us...but we don't beat a fully healthy BOS team consistently.

Thibs knows he is getting fired. He sounds full of excuses. The only way he keeps his job is if he wins 3 straight.

Not sure where Thibs goes with starters now. The Mitch thing isn't working anymore, on the other hand Hart pretty much lost the game between turnovers and defensive lapses.

Either Achiuwa or Wright should start... if Bridges benching wasnt bad for our trade market I would have started both of them above... those two and OG would have made it much easier for JB and KAT on both ends of the floor

Incredible and fantastic individual efforts. NOTHING that this moronic coach should get credited for.

Plus McBride.

They can give us Gary Trent Jr.

I don't know if that fixes anything. We really are going to need to figure out if Brunson or KAT can play together. I had a doomed feeling when Thibs trotted out the KAT, Brunson, Hart, OG, and Mikal lineup again.

It feels like Thibs' best play this series has been get 4 defenders, spread the floor. Give the ball to the guy at the top of the key. Iso. Of course, he's only allowed to do that for 5 minutes or something.

So either the Knicks going to need to fire the coach and hope that works...or we trade one of Brunson and KAT. Oh and we need to see if Mikal can be salvaged.

This really stings. We beat the defending champs, we have our guys healthy, and we're going out to the damn pacers. Sports are a waste of time.

Last year was a 7 game series with the Pacers

This year might be a fiver.

After all those trades , money, and picks spent.... I would not be totally surprised if Leon Rose is in the hotseat and not just Thibs

This is embarrassing, no matter what way you look at it IMHO

Final point 2 years in a row Hali's styled on us. After game 7 last year, they started game 1 of this series 8/8. Team has no pride or too nonchalant.

Felt bad for Thibs when he was mic'd up pleading for them to run and to communicate on Defense.

Thibs coached horribly. He left in his “starters” most the game and they failed like they have this entire series

KAT and Brunson don’t work together on a fundamental level

Brunson needs an older PG brought in to mentor him cause he is playing in a bullheaded manner that reminds me of Ja Morant. They got to get some to come in and teach him how to be a better decision maker in the playoffs.

When KAT hurt his knee I didn’t just think this game or series was over. I thought that was it for this era of the Knicks. They have too much money tied into him.

I think KAT is the best player this series and the entire teams iced him out in the 4th quarter and barely passed him the ball. There is a foundational issue with the coaching and even the locker room that they could freeze KAT out like that. Also KAT should have been demanding the damn ball, but that is secondary to how they refused to give him the ball. At least half the possessions he should touch the ball at least once. Instead it was Brunson passing to cutters with defenders on them.

The FO has a lot of questions they got to figure out because this is clearly not it.

Worst. Coach. Ever. And I use the word coach very lightly cuz all he does is just walk around like an imbecile with his arms folded yelling one or two words over and over again. Pay attention when they mic him up in these timeouts. He literally says nothing expect "let's go! " Come on! Just random $hit that a cheerleader with pom-poms yells out to get his team going. No real coaching going on here.

I am a huge Josh Hart guy but the getting beat back door, the sloppy turnovers, turning down that open 3 later in the game.

The leash for some of these guys is crazy.
