I've seen a lot of comparisons by media, experts on Cooper Flagg. Not exactly a pro comp but when I watch highlights, I see a lot of Shareef Abdur Rahim with Flagg. They're both 6'9 and can literally do everything on the floor, can score on all 3 levels with handles to boot.

I barely remember him, wasn't he a bad defender or I'm confusin him with someone else?

Thansk for sharing, that video is amazing. This makes Flagg even more exciting

When he played with Vancouver, he was averaging like 23ppg, 7rpg and 4 apg. This line is kinda what I expect from Flagg during his younger years. With the same height and pretty much the same built. Both are mobile 6'9 forwards with ball handling.

We've watched Dirk throughout his whole career. He started out as slow as anybody and turned out to be legendary. Cooper has a chance to get to a quicker start with higher production #s.

For reference. The comps I've seen with Cooper are all around. The Scottie Pippen comp sure is sexy but Scottie's way up there IMO. 6 rings and all.

Flagg signed with Brunson's agent that has ties to Leon Rose and the Knicks.

Nico about to save New York one day.

We could easily fix it by firing mr. Harrison on the spot and never answering Silver's calls again. 8-)

Cooper's agent is Sam Rose. Leon Rose's son. The guy who funneled Brunson ti New York. Same thing with OG Anunoby. That's why they were able to assemble this thing in NYC.

At some point the Knicks might give a job to Cooper's dad and he'll find his way to New York in the coming years. It fits their timeline because Brunson will turn 30 soon and if he slows down, that's their window.

Well reports said he just signed with CAA, not with Sam Rose.
And Mavs have basically 8 years of team control on Flagg, by the time he'll be a UFA, Brunson will be past his prime already and Knicks will likely be back where they belong and that's the lottery.

Just realized CAA represents Luka too. Wonder how they feel working with Nico again.

Oh and regarding the Knicks, they won't be in the lottery for a while. They traded 5 picks for Mikal. All those convey in Brunson's 30s.

So Dwight Powell for Jalen Brunson is what you’re saying?

Dunc'd On are the most negative podcast about draft prospects in general, they were in awe of Cooper Flagg film, they have his above Zion as a prospect, and on par with AD, he had him below only LeBron, Wemby, Shaq, KD, Oden and Duncan as pospect

We should be keeping an eye on what’s going to happen with Jared Dudley and Sean Sweeney. Both were/are up for the Suns HC vacancy. They’re the ones that are going to help Cooper Flagg reach his potential. Alex Jensen and Keith Veney as well but Dudley and Sweeney could potentially both leave this off season. That would be bad. As of right now Sweeney has had a second interview but has not been offered the job.

These are the guys that are going to be working daily with Cooper Flagg. Not saying someone else couldn’t help him reach his potential because most of it will be on Flagg but coaches matter. Both Dudley and Sweeney are excellent coaches and hopefully the Mavs will be able to keep both of them on staff.
