I like Russ more but tough to argue about Shai incredible regular season and leading a young squad to the Finals (Durant obviously doesn't count and it's not one MVP and one finals trip with Westbrook and Harden that will make up for his ****).

I’m fine with that. What I’d really like to see is Shai embraced the way Westbrook is embraced.

that will require at least a title and even then I'm not so sure. Sports are about emotions so there is a huge amount of intangibles and irrationals stuffs. Westbrook deserves credit because he was the only one to stay in a tough situation and the door was open for him to leave but then you also have the energy that he was able to bring on the floor and the way he was acting with the crowd. Sometimes there's a special bound between a player and their fans (Steven Adams too to a lesser extent) and it can be unfair towards other great players.

I just want us to win a title right now but there's a world where Shai is embraced in OKC in a similar way than Steph is in Golden State (even if we win less titles than Golden State)

I'm acting like we are in the finals yet but I'm still worried about that Wolves squad...they are very very good. Good for us that they will have some tough financial decisions to make this offseason because their depth is absurd

I know you gotta give up something but Minny has good enough shooters and it was the second game in a row they were hitting them at almost 50%. We lost the Dallas series partly due to that but they had some players that don't shoot the ball as well and we got unlucky...against Denver it was "fine" because you have to pack the paint against Jokic. Just not sure that's the optimal defense against the Wolves but I might be wrong.

I don't mind the strategy in general as I think we over helped on a few plays and can tighten that up a little bit for game 5. I actually thought Ant had a good game and made the right plat most of the time despite what the media is saying about him.

We're betting over the course of the series that those guys won't be able to hit at a high clip every game and that is more likely to happen when we play at home as proven in games 1 & 2.

I think Ant made the right decisions yeah. I think he will attack a lot more tomorrow because of his ego and it could be a good thing for us but he also can have some superstar performances in the POs so gonna need a very good defense.

My point was also exactly that role players hit their shots more often at home so I don't know if this strategy is that good when we play on the road. Minny still had a great offensive performance yesterday shooting an absurd percentage from three but most were open 3's in the corner.

Big game tomorrow and the series isn't over but should we root for Indiana or the Knicks? Feel like the Knicks are a better match up for us but it's difficult to tell since Indiana is such an offensive juggernault but is beyond terrible on D.

this is a fantastic chronic about last game. i recommend it throughly to watch/listen. fantastic stuff.

even the remarks about sga's offensive style being a style that conservates energy. wow. never thought about this.

good stuff but not so sure about Rudy Gobert. He's playing really well in those POs and some stats show how important he's to this Wolves squad. He's a player that I trully hate but I just can't deny how important he has been for them. I also know that he's a very controversial player so I'm not surprised to listen good or bad stuff from high BBIQ guys.

another piece of media that struck me after the last game was thunder's post-game conference.

shai said that they are not running anything for chet. that chet is just out there running and vibing the game. which is only natural since chet missed most of the season. what a fantastic beast chet is.

also chet said a pretty presti quote that made jdub shiver: "we're going to be as good as the work we put into".

these guys are not pretending. they all know it. they are locked in. they are going to be the 2025 nba champions.

Chet played less than one and a half season in the NBA so what he's doing is INCREDIBLE.

I just worry about him being too injury prone but sky is the limit for him. Don't think he has MVP upside and obviously not Victor ceiling but he can be a top 10 player in this league if he stays healthy.

Why does the Thunder no more play in her "Sunset jerseys)?

I really hope we take care of this tonight. I'm going to get nervous if we drop this one.

They are doing exactly what they are supposed to do in a closeout game at home.

Caruso mamamia...exactly the guy we needed. Defense, energy, high BBIQ, championship experience.

Chet was the only prospect that I badly wanted that Presti end up drafting so I'm so happy to watch him succeed but the four of Shai/Caruso/Cason/Chet were on fire first half!!

Just a bit sad about Wiggins I don't understand what is going on with him but whatever.

I think Kenrich might play a "big" role against a very fast Pacers team.

Presti very very serious...probably thinking that he still needs 4 more wins to earn Kizz's respect
