Trey Young would really help them both on offense, KD isn't really that good a creator for others.

I actually like LaMelo Ball to move the needle more than the midget. The problem is to get one of these all star caliber PG's you have to give up one of Herro or Bam, and then we are right back to where we are. The drum MWP has been beating on about drafting a PG is going to be our only recourse.

I like the idea of LaMelo more than the player, one of the most unserious players I've ever seen. The board would want to strangle him lol. He's like a pg Whiteside

3rd and 5th seed? That's not worth getting Durant

I’m basing it off our current record this year compared to the games we blew.

But even if so why not? We went to the finals as the 8th seed and I believe the 5th? It’s more about matchups and staying healthy. Pacers are about to make the finals as the 4th seed. East is wide open.

One you and others wouldn't be happy. You and many on here will have your pitch forks out if the Heat was a 5 to 3 rd seed with Durant. Butler was young enough to have time to build around. Durant at his age can not and should not be your lead player and he is at the age where its a year by year bases. Thus he needs to be the player that take a team over the top not a player that just make you a playoff team.

Yea if we’re the 3rd seed next year I’ll be **** livid.

Butler was young enough to build around but we didn’t build lol we fielded worse rosters year after year for the most part with 2022 being the outlier

The Heat did build around Butler. They built the number one seed in the east. However that was a one and done roster because of the age of Tucker, Lowry and the legs of Oladipo. The panic move for Rozier was the back breaker. The build around Butler should have ended when he missed that game winner. Which was gonna happen if they acquired Lillard. Heat just couldn't get over the transition to a quick new reload. Stop down playing the success.

The Heat are not far off from being a 5 to 3 seed. If the Heat can acquire Durant without giving up much I am all for it. However I do not think the Heat are close enough to be contenders to make that move. IMO the Heat are not in position to give up 1st round picks. They need to add picks, because they will need to make multiple moves to become a contender. Getting Durant will likely handicap the Heat again.

Its not the time to cash in on Jaquaz and Jovic, finish the development first. Focus on moving Wiggins, Robinson, Slo Mo, Love and Rozier for better suited vets and to make room for Mitchell. Lets see what this 20th draft pick shows us then go from there.

An under the radar player I think the Heat should take a hard look at is Cam Thomas

Restricted free agent. Most likely BK matches offer sheet.

He is a sign and trade candidate for the Nets. I do not think the Nets are committed to him. What they are looking for, idk.

I’m not downplaying anything but the roster construction was bad and not deep enough to knock out the truly elite teams when it mattered most, outside of 2022 as I mentioned. Not including 2020 since that was year 1. The moves were mostly minor/lateral and never once showed the willingness to truly buy into the group and make the necessary moves to win it. A team as reliant on as many undrafted guys as we were isn’t a properly built team.

We need a defensive two guard who can score that won’t break the bank. I like Caris LeVert

Need a lot of things.

I dont think Cam Thomas breaks the bank. The Heat got 60 mill dollars they need to trade for better use

Clicked this expecting to see Rozier, and wasn’t disappointed

Centers like Sengun, Kessler, Claxton etc being on there Is wild though. Does Claxton for example even take jump shots? All I’ve seen of him is hanging around the rim waiting for put backs or lobs
