My Attempt at Giannis to Hou, with NO
Someone posted something similar, but I think it was off a bit. How's this look?
Hou sends Green, Whitmore, #10, and the 2027 Suns' 1st to Milw and Reed, Sengun to NO
Hou gets CJ and Giannis
NO sends CJ to Hou and #7 plus Hawkins/Missi and the Milw picks to the Bucks
NO gets Sengun and Reed
Milw sends Giannis to Hou
Milw gets Green, Whitmore, Hawkins, Missi plus #7/#10 this year, their next 2 picks back from NO and the 2027 Suns' 1st
Hou goes for it
FVV/CJ
Amen/CJ
Brooks/Eason
Smith/Eason
Giannis/Adams
That's an awesome top 8, they would need some bench help but that is a 60+ win team and a contender, easily. Would be the best defense in the league and should have enough scoring
NO hopes Murray returns at some point and tries for the playoffs with
Murray/Reed/Alvaro
Murphy/Reed
Jones
Zion
Sengun/KellyO
Would also need some bench, but that is an interesting lineup
Bucks start over with their 2026 and 27 picks back, rebuild around #7/#10, Green, Whitmore, Missi. They play the kids and go for a top 5 pick next summer. The 2027 Suns' pick is very valuable too-could easily be a top 10 pick.

Easy pass for Bucks -They need a better 1A piece than Green - Find a way to get Thompson and Sheppard with those picks and its closer
Bucks get: Thompson/Sheppard/McCollum/Suns 2025 1st / 2026 and 2027 pick swaps back
Rockets get: Giannis
Pelicans get: Green
Bucks get: Thompson/Sheppard/McCollum/Suns 2025 1st / 2026 and 2027 pick swaps back
Rockets get: Giannis
Pelicans get: Green

says Green isn't good enough for the Bucks to take.
Then turns around and demands the Pels give the Bucks CJ and his picks back for just him.
This isn't serious.

I'm so confused with this rationale. You somehow think so intuitively and objectively about the Bucks but can't uphold that same thoughtfulness for other teams?
Remember 2027 isn't a swap for New Orleans, it's a whole 1st they are trading.
Just to get the words to come out of your mouth, you think this is fair?
CJ McCollum, 2026 1st Swap, 2027 1st (Better of NOP/MIL) for Green

Bucks don’t want this, these players are not building blocks at all(thus worthless to the Bucks) and the picks aren’t rebuilding anything. Bucks aren’t trading Giannis for the right to suck for the rest of the decade. Houston needs to empty the chest and even then it’s still gonna be a no from me.

I inserted Sheppard and Thompson instead of Green - McCollum is salary filler - How about you look at the whole trade and get off your high horse

I am - People expect to get Giannis for junk
What about the other teams am i missing? Rockets get Giannis and Pelicans get Green for McCollum and two picks.

Nope. When you only look at the Bucks side, I'm going to keep calling you out. You said Green sucks. But you have no problem asking the Pels to take him and give the Bucks some nice value.
I didn't get into the Thompson argument because we've had that until we are blue in the face.
I will keep pointing out your Bucks-centric inconsistences. I get you don't want that pointed out. You want to just only think about what would be great for the Bucks. But see in trades they have to make sense for the other teams too. And by your own logic, your counter makes no sense for the Pels, but you didn't care because its only Bucks, Bucks, Bucks with you.

What can't you understand? Green isn't good enough for Giannis, but he is good enough for McCollum and those two 1st. Its not that hard.

Two top ten picks, effectively the Bucks 2026 pick, the better of the Bucks/Pels 27 pick and a Suns future pick post Kd? I mean, traded picks don’t get better than that. I’ve got really bad news regarding what this deal will really look like.

If Giannis is traded, it will be the biggest deal in history.

You think CJ McCollum, a great 1st and a good swap is the value of Jalen Green?

Green wasn't the sole return for Giannis...... And no, he's not nearly good enough for those picks back. But again you don't care. You only want what you want without a moment's thought about the other team.
And on a Bucks fan site? Awesome. An echo chamber would love this approach. But on a a league wide board trying to construct deals that make sense for everyone involved? Not helpful.

Then Houston cuts out Milwaukee. If they can get a super good 1st and the MIL/NOP swap for Green, they just do that.

How about you make a trade than involving these three teams - I would love to see it.

give up. He doesn't even look at the other teams involved. He won't answer direct questions because he knows it exposes the charade.

I thought the whole point was assigning way too much value to Jalen Green in order to get Milwaukee their picks back?
