I don't engage in that big market, small market nonsense. At the end of the day, it's just hoops. Where it's played does not matter. My excitement (or lack thereof) about this potential series would strictly be about the hoops, for I do not like an uncompetitive series, which is what I am anticipating.

i agree, i think OKC is much better but i've been doubting this Pacers team since the beginning and they keep proving me wrong. I'm hoping they can make it competitive in teh finals.

I really do not get this US obsession about market size. If it's not my team I could care less how big or small the market is. It´s mostly about the players. The Bulls were relevant to me when Jordan played there and during the Rose/Noah years. When they were irrelevant it made no difference to me that it´s the 3rd biggest city in the US.

NBA fan culture is weird. A lot of us seemingly prefer arguing about where players rank on a mythical list than watching games. And a lot of us who watch the games prefer focusing on the three refs than the 10 players on the court.
