Sadly, the season ends tonight.
Stealing one of the opening two games in OKC was a must. Instead, the Wolves never bothered showing up. Winning the next two at home was always an uphill battle.

By the way, thanks to the NBA for scheduling the 10th consecutive game at 2:30 AM CET… the worst possible timing for European fans

Honestly, right now I just want one more win. I think we can get that.

Interested how the team responds and could be a factor on who's here next season with 3 major rotation guys hitting free agency, along with 2 draft picks. Who's content just packing up and going home, or who's gonna fight and give the fans another home game to extend the series?
Ant needs to come out aggressive again like game 3. If he has another average game he's gonna be getting dogged all summer in the media like he has been the last 2 days.

This is where I'm at. I just don't get the sense that the team wants to truly fight to make history. Hope they prove us wrong though.

Re: WCF Game 5, 5/28: Minnesota at Oklahoma City, 7:30 pm
It might be too little too late for the series. However.....
Ant now has his role players all finding their grooves. If Ant and Julius continue to play aggressively selfless, I think this is actually when this team plays at its best. Last game, it came down to getting one more stop and grabbing one more rebound against a great OKC squad that was playing excellent ball. This is not a team that is way out of it or playing poorly. We were just one step behind. It's like finishing a race a half-step behind Usain Bolt. Yeah you didn't win. But I hope they don't try to overhaul what they're doing, because I think they were playing well.

Will be fun to sneak this one out, win at home for game 6, and see if OKC can handle another game 7. Plenty of teams have come back from 3-1 in the past.

Yep. That's the only way to look at it.
What Wolves team will show up tonight? I really don't know. We were not at our best Monday so we'll probably be pretty good tonight. Not very scientific but it's the best I have.

Plenty? Are you sure? Against 68 win teams with two of the final three at home. If we pull off this comeback it will be one of the best of all time.

If Julius starts with his pouty uninspired game, just put him on the bench the entire game.
Go down with a fight

One game at a time baby. Cleveland came back from 1-3 to win to beat the 73 win GSW to win the championship. In that same year, GSW came back from 1-3 to beat OKC in the playoffs. So, we are in a good spot for an upset

Hi Guidus, move to to Thailand as i do

Go Wolves. If it has to be the last game at the season, it has to be fun. And whatever the outcome, I'm proud of this team, season is a huge success. Go Wolves !

We have played well on the road this year.. We also played well when considered underdogs..
OKC will bring it.
Can Finch and coaching staff get away with proclamation of setting the team up to win, and blaming the players for lack of compliance?
We are about to find out.
Bring the intensity!
