Yeah they deserve it. They battled and pushed through and gave us a better run than any team in the last 25 years.

Plus they sacrificed their bodies and played through injuries and I wouldn’t be surprised if some of them end up with off-season procedures.

This is what im trying to focus on - not the changed expectations once they got out of the 2nd round or the horrendous collapse in game 1 of the ecf. Just that the season was a resounding success and (mostly) fun. Especially when compared to past seasons.

Anyways, its not over yet - we have a game to win

it sucks losing to indiana for sure, but we did get to the ecf and we beat boston which pretty much no one thought was gonna happen. ecf is still the best in like 20+ years so im not sure how much higher expectations you can have.

im not saying ECF is some failure. I'm just saying the "feel good" stuff im not interested in. I'm going to be pissed if we lose in 5...that would be a bad look. You even thought we were going to smack around pacers you can't be contest we getting smacked around by them.

like i said it sucks losing to them. but if you look at the big picture you have to take the ecf as big progress at the end of the day. and this is someone that doesn't even like this team that much. the bigger question will be if this team has any room to get better or do you break up some of the core to get a better balance of defense and offense. but i would still take this season as a success no matter what happens in the summer.
