Thunder showed you exactly why they will be a dynasty in 3-4 years. Expected to be worst team in NBA yet hovered around .500 until they decided to spare the league humiliation further. Then at the PERFECT time they start resting guys once the point has been made.

Now they stack top 3 draft picks couple years. Just be glad they aren’t unleashing SGA, Dort and Poku on your team right now bro. Even 2k21 lists SGA as out for “personal reasons”. They know he’s nice and just wants to give the league time to catch up and delay the upcoming dynasty.

Last year's Lakers was most definitely not a superteam. It was a normal contending team with 2 superstars + elite role players.

2 all NBA first team guys on one team. And they barely even played a team with 1 all NBA first team in their playoff run.

Tell me how that not a superteam.

OKC is in the position they are in due to elite level FO management, not tanking.

Shai being stolen by Presti will forever be one of the greatest fleece jobs in Sports history. Because without a HOF level player, this all means nothing. Shai is what separates OKC from a Rockets team.

The only disgrace here are the Clippers.

Try to acquire actual NBA players instead of shipping every half decent player away for some distant future pick. Presti is selling snake oil to the fans while stocking the team with the cheapest G league players he possibly can.

That will be the next step. They still hope to acquire some very high level talent in the '22 and possibly '23 draft to add to a solid and young core of SGA, Dort and Giddey. In the meantime they need to continue to develop Bazley/Poku/Mann and see if they can be solid rotational players. I expect this year and next to be about drafting and development, but by 23/24 Presti will use his arsenal of draft picks to add solid veterans and start contending again. Sucks for fans for a couple of years (although this team is fun to watch) but that's reality in a small market.

The Pacer did tank for 2 seasons. The first time in our history. We also made several trades to move forward by stepping back. Trading vets for picks and younger guys.

We got Mathurin and Walker in the lottery. Even though Walker hasn't hardly played in the playoffs and Math not a lot of minutes. Math has been a huge part of our success the last couple of seasons. Walker looks to be going forward.

We got Hali from trading Sabonis, a established vet for a young guy.

Nesmith for trading vet Brogdon. Ended up being a great trade.

Nembhard and Sheppard we got from getting rid of vet Caris LeVert. 2nd round pick and late first. That was a hell of a trade.

Then the last piece was Paskal, trading some picks. Kinda putting it all together.
