BTW Giannis has a meeting with the Bucks next week. I guess more things will come out after that meeting.

If Bulls don't wanna give him it .... KCP and a pick?.... I'm down!

They’d be stupid not to take that deal IMO. That’s like 20-25 a year and with cap going up it’s a value

They want our 16th pick bad. They are willing to accept Cole and the #16 for Coby.

If that happened, I would start Coby and trade KCP for a solid roll bench player and/or expirings.

New big 3! Paolo, Giannis, Booker.

Magic get Booker and Giannis.

Bucks get Franz, Cole, 16th pick, 25th pick, 2027 unprotected first, 2026 pick swap, 2032 pick swap.

Suns get Suggs, Carter jr., TDS, their 2026 pick swap back, 2028 unprotected 1st, 2030 unprotected 1st., 2031 pick swap.

Suns rebuild around Durant and get much needed depth.

Bucks get a soon to be allstar in Franz who can keep them competitive until Dame comes back.

Magic get an unstoppable big 3. That still has years to grow together. They can get cheap ring chasing vets every year to fill out the roster. Roll out a lineup of Booker, Kcp, Black, Paolo, Giannis. That would be dangerous.

Emotions aside:

The fact of the matter is that Suggs contract was constructed to inevitably be traded.

Suggs style of play is a detriment to himself and the team.

The severity of Suggs injury and the ramifications of how the medical team chose to go about his surgery could rear its head by the end of his contract.

I’ll be hurt as I’m one of Jalen’s biggest supporters, but if this trade is truly on the table you have to consider it.

Ride with KCP this year and hope Black develops and can emulate a little of what Suggs did later down the road. Reevaluate next summer.

However, if we are truly shopping Suggs and genuinely interested in Garland and his skillset then I would call also call the following teams and gauge these players cost/value:

Miami Heat - Tyler Herro
Atlanta Hawks - Trae Young
Toronto Raptors - Immanuel Quickley
LA Lakers - Austin Reaves

Cut the delusion.

Coby White averaged 20 ppg & 4,5 apg on team that won 2 games less than Magic. On East, that looks to be worst than ever in past 20 years, especially if Giannis leaves, he'll be lock for all star game.

Would you trade Suggs for 16# pick and bench player ? Ofc not.

Bulls don't have many things going for them, but White is young (25) and they have enough money to pay him.

if they are going to shop him, it will be for multiple picks with low protection in future.

Bulls today, only have 2 players in salary books for 2026-27 ( 3 if you include Buzelis & Phillips ). They can afford both Giddey and White without any issues. They have nothing in salary books going forward.

Bulls also have 12# pick.
If they want to fall down, they can make trade with Nets for 19#,26# and 27# pick.
If Bulls want to trade up, there are 76ers who are shopping pick in public (3# )

This draft is nothing special pass Flagg. Even lottery projected players are full of question marks. For start, not a single player projected to be "playmaker" actually showed that he can be - play maker.
Harper in most mocks is projected to be 2# pick and guy is 6'6 guard with average athletic profile, with okey handles, questionable jump shot and who spent year stat padding on bad team.
Bailey is player i would not touch with 10 foot stick. On regular bases he takes worst shots possible, tunnel vision, head between legs. Good luck reprogramming all that.
Edgecombe once again- not point guard. Just high usage guard with mediocre efficiency due questionable outside shot.

Traore is probably closest thing to actual lead guard in this draft, but he shot himself in foot with crappy start of a season and that tanked his value.

Overall, as i said, most teams won't get crazy or do anything crazy about picks this year for simple reason: this draft really isn't worth doing lot of crazy stuff. Every year when you hear bunch of team wanting to trade down ( 2006, 2013, 2020 etc) it always means same thing: GMs don't think draft is good enough where picking some random 7th is significant advantage over drafting 15# or so.

Also everything around NBA will be spinning around decision of Giannis and potentially Jokić.

Serbian medias are all over story how Jokić is about to turn down extension and is willing to leave if Nuggets can't improve roster. Jokić has 2 years left on his deal, meaning they have year and half to trade him.

Should Boston decide to break up its core this offseason, Grant Hughes of Bleacher Report proposed that the Celtics trade Jaylen Brown to the Magic for Jonathan Isaac, Anthony Black, Moritz Wagner, a 2028 first-round pick (top-1-protected) and a 2030 first-round pick (top-6-protected).

"This is mostly about saving cash for Boston, but Black is a promising guard prospect, while Isaac is among the league’s best defenders," Hughes wrote. "

Well: this trade would guarnetee the Magic is over the apron the next three years. But: hey, it's not our money.
In conclusion, this kind of trade won't happen, but it would make the Magic a title contender next year.

If Coby was willing to extend for less than 100 M / 4 yrs, I d even add to this offer

Cole+ #16 + future FRP

But I can't see him doing that with so many teams with cap space next summer

Jaylen Brown is a 2-way star but the big criticism of his nearly complete game is playmaking, decisions and turnovers…not our guy on that INSANE deal. Fantastic player but a much less solid fit in ORL

I love Jalen too but this would be hard to turn down.

Suggs+Mitchell would be a great backcourt.

Having black + KCP + JI would allow us to transit nicely from suggs to gartland.

Goga for Royce O'Neil

Gartland, ab
KCP
Franz, O'Neil
P5,JI, O'Neil
Wcj, Moe, Raynaud

Now you need to trade Cole and Jett for some 2 way guard

I'm not a Garland fan. I think he can be taken out of a game or series by a good defender. Poole is a better creator.
